The ceiling. Vriska was lying on the ground staring at her . Tock. Tick. Tock. All she can hear are her thoughts. Her angry thoughts, her confused thoughts. But most of all, her depressing thoughts. These thoughts swirl through her mind, like debris inside of a tornado. All this debris, contained memories, of what had made her happiest in life.
'Why? I thought we were forever…'
Her attention was focused on her one and only love, Terezi. Vriska and Terezi, and unexpected pair. Their romance was young and slow going. It had its' highs, and its' lows, but hadn't ever faltered. Until now…
"Come on Vriska! Look at the new design of the Scalemates! Aren't they adorable! Will you win it for me?" Terezi asked excitedly at her first trip to the fair. Vriska gave her a light smile, one that radiated love and happiness.
"Anything for you, baby."
Well, at least it seemed to be so. For this love wasn't real. All it seemed to bear for Vriska was a broken heart. A shattered glass heart, fragile to the touch and unknowing of how to go on. For she had lost her best friend, and the love of her life in six months.
Vriska flung open the door to her room. The first thing she saw was Terezi, standing in the doorway. However, the look upon her face was not one of joy. It was a face of uncontrollable rage. At the time, Vriska had no clue to why Terezi was as furious as she was. Now she knows.
Vriska remembers everything. Even the things she prays she could forget. Like seeing Terezi, lying naked on the couch with Dave Strider sprawled over her fragile frame. The chorus of pleasure creating a beautiful yet sorrowful harmony. She thinks over all of this while ascending the steps, slowly to the roof of her apartment
' Make it stop!' She internally cries.
'I don't want to see this anymore!' Her tortured soul screams.
Vriska remembers everything. Everything up to the moment her broken body hits the pavement.
