A/N: Meant to write this a month ago but it never happened until now it's short and not so sweet but still here ya go...

With tear filled eyes Cam sent his final message telling Maya it was over. When he said 'it's over' he meant his life, his problems, his anxiety, his everything. He would finally be free from it all. He knew that some people wouldn't understand why he was doing this but he didn't really care. He felt like they would be able to piece together some of the pieces so that it would make some sense.

Cam pulled Hoot out of his pocket where he had been sitting safely all day. He knew it would be wrong to leave him in his pocket only to be found later by whoever found him. Leaving him there would mean taking Hoot with him too and leaving Maya with nothing. He held Hoot in his shaking hands before kissing it gently as if by doing so Maya would know or feel it too. Cam walked over to Maya's locker with his hood over his head so he would go unnoticed by the other students and teachers in the hallways. He spun the combination on the lock and opened the locker slowly. Cam took in the sight of the pictures that Maya had on the door of her locker knowing it'd be the last time he'd see them. He placed Hoot on the top shelf making sure he was right in the center and facing the right way. Cam closed the locker gently and put the lock back on before walking away with silent tears streaming down his face.

Cam sat in the greenhouse letting the numbing feeling slowly start to overcome him. All he knew was that little by little as each second turned to minute he began to feel better and better. He was finally free of everything that held him down. Free of all those bad feelings, of all the things that bothered him. He could forget about Dallas and hockey and Zig and everything they had said to him. The weight on his shoulders had been lifted and nothing but emptiness remained. He knew soon enough he would completely fade away and nothing would remain but his wasted body that someone would eventually find. He only wished that it wasn't someone who knew him well. He began to think about Maya and how happy she made him feel. Cam let his mind fill with the happier times he shared with her so that that way his last thoughts were happy ones. Were ones of one of the only people that ever made him happy.

Cam heard someone scream in the distance but he was too weak to look up to see who it was. He heard a guys voice telling the girl something and out of the corner of his eye he could see her run off to get help. Cam smiled weakly knowing that it was already too late. Nothing could be done at this point. That within minutes he would be completely gone. Just like he wanted.

Cam saw the guy start to run over to him out of the corner of his eyes but it was too much of an effort to keep them open any longer so he let them close. He could barely feel the guy shaking him yelling at him to wake up and to stay awake and saying that help was coming. Cam faded fast and the guys words eventually became muffled to the point where he didn't know what was being said. Cam took his last breath and then everything faded. He felt nothing. Saw nothing. Heard nothing. He was gone. He was free. He was finally free. He got what he wanted. And he finally felt nothing.
