Well, this is my second story, but the first that is actually a "Story". It takes place after the end of the main quest, and follows the Fourth Era lore from the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages. I do not own any of the places, characters, or objects besides Sear and some of his weapons.

"It's over! The oblivion crisis is over! Where is Martin? I must congratulate him!" Ocato said, nearly dancing with glee. He stopped though, when he saw Sear's face. Ocato then looked at the huge dragon statue and the smile faded from his face. "That was Martin wasn't it?" All Sear could mutter was a small "Yes".

Months later, Sear sat, reading in his small library in his home, Battlehorn Castle. He had spent unusually long amounts of time reading and writing, as noted by some of his guards who, in time, went and reported it to Castellan Athon. Now, the Captain and Sear had a good, friendly relationship, and it was not uncommon to find them both having dinner and discussing things of varying importance. However, ever since the end of the Oblivion Crisis and being named Champion of Cyrodiil, along with reports by his guardsmen, Athon began to notice the change in Sear's mood. He decided that it would be ok to let it go and have his Lord sort thing out himself.

Later in the week, a heavy rainstorm had rolled in, much to the wall guard's dismay. However, at around midnight, he saw a light moving down the road quite fast. The light turned out to be a torch being carried by a mad on his horse. Calling through the rain, the man asked if he could be let in. The guardsmen, who was new at the time, did not know what to do, and promptly went to Athon. He told the new guard that he would take care of it, and walked to the rain and up to the gate. As soon as Athon reached the bars, the man started talking. "I'm from the Elder Council. High Chancellor Ocato requires Lord Sear to come to the Imperial City immediately and prepared for battle! Athon was dumbstruck. A random person just clamed to have come from the Elder Council and called for Sear to go to battle! The second that Athon processed this, he felt a presence behind him. Sear was there in Dragon Armor, his three swords, and his horse, Ravenwing. He approached the bars and spoke 4 simple words: "What do they require?"
