1. Snug
Channel by channel he changed, his eyes mindlessly gazing through the flickering screen. A huff, a grunt escaped his mouth, growing quite bored that he couldn't easily find one show that amused him.
A soft sigh slipped into his ears, breaking him from his irritated distraction.
Silver looked at the sleeping girl on his lap. Kotone was still sound asleep, still curling and nuzzling like a newborn baby Pokémon. She shuffled slightly, then exhaled a gentle purr close to his beating heart.
His face reddened, and Silver was just really glad that she was asleep to witness it.
2. Pout
"Smiiiile!" Kotone cheered gleefully as she tugged the corners of his lips. Silver, although completely irritated by the act, only sat in silence and let his girlfriend pull his face like he was made of clay.
She giggled; her voice was pure melody to his ears. "Okay now poooouuut." She squished his cheeks together, causing his lips to form the stupidest pout Kotone had ever seen. Her giggle turned to a laugh, showing no guilt whatsoever in her beloved's annoyed expression.
Taking the advantage of her joyful distraction, Silver quickly leaned forward and gave Kotone a simple kiss on the lips.
The kiss was short, and yet it still caused their hearts to stir like a violent whirlpool. Her laughing ceased, but her smile brightened as beautiful as ever.
As he placed his forehead against hers, as he saw her smile that gave him a reason to be happy, Silver only smiled wider.
3. Ring
"Skitty! Guess what?"
Without waiting a moment's warning, Silver widened his eyes as he felt her pounce from behind. Her arms wrapped around his neck, and he almost fell as she spun around to face him.
"I'm married to you!" Kotone exclaimed excitingly, flashing the wedding ring on her finger. The young woman hopped like a Buneary. "You're stuck with me because you love meeee." Her voice radiated happiness, bliss, everything that could easily melt his heart like the lovesick idiot that he was.
As if Silver could ever be mad at her for so long. "I know that." Sliding his arms around her waist, he tugged her closer and pressed a loving, sweet kiss on his beloved wife's forehead.
