A/N: This is very short songfic dedicated to mwah. The song, Linkin Park "What I've Done" (which is not mine) is one of my fave songs and I don't know if it suits this particular scene but whatev. And for my disclaimer, I don't own "Vampire Knight." Please read and no flames…

"Zero?"
She knew that look. He was again losing his insanity, which meant only one thing. She found herself pinned to the wall.
In this farewell,
There's no blood,
There's no alibi.
'Cause I've drawn regret,
From the truth,
Of a thousand lies.
Yuuki shut her eyes as she felt Zero's fangs attack her neck. She bit her lip, knowing well that if she screamed and anyone found out, they would take him away from her. Her blood was slowly leaking out, being sipped. She didn't resist because it was the only solution.
So let mercy come,
And wash away…
What I've Done.
I'll face myself,
To cross out what I've become.
Erase myself,
And let go of what I've done.
This was the same person who despised vampires because of their sick way of satisfying their hunger. And yet…look at him now.
Put to rest,
What you thought of me.
While I clean this slate,
With the hands,
Of uncertainty.
"Yuuki…" his warm breath spoke, sending shivers to her spine. Zero continued to hover over her, licking what was left of the red substance. It was delicious although he knew he would never be able to forgive himself. This was against his principles but he just couldn't stop. He was now one of them, the creatures he hated the most…

She felt the grip loosen on her but the pain was still there. The damage has been done. And even as he walked away, she knew that this was not the end of their suffering…

And whatever pain may come.
Today this ends,
I'm forgiving what I've done.
