A/N: I was feeling down, and this came to me. I was going to just put it
under Originals-Poetry, but half way through, I thought it would make a
good Animorphs poem. I couldn't decide whether to put it as Jake's pov, or
Rachel's. I eventually decided on Jake. Hope you like it, and REVIEW!!!

Moon, Night, And Soul
By
Son Of Evil
Looking at the stars at night,
Searching through the dark blue.
Yet to my eyes, black is all,
True beauty hidden from view.
Am I like the hidden colour?
Buried under the deep and dank?
Fighting to peek through the violence?
All but a moon to reflect the lake.
The shining crescent stuck within black.
Capturing the eerie rays of light.
Forcing itself into my fearful tears.
For the knowledge of its being, it will fight.
Perhaps my soul is like the moon.
Small, fragile and longing, but there.
Catching light to allow my shine.
Perhaps I have no need to care.
History will untwine its twisted self.
I need not worry or force it to stop.
But the shining light still yearns for it.
Needing the very last glistening drop.
I look to our moon a last time that night,
Thoughts unanswered and yet more to mind.
My scarred soul, will still shine.
