Happy's true Form

Notes: so this particular, bizarre, story came from a discussion my friends and I had at lunch one day over what Happy really was. I mean he's a flying blue cat for Gods sake! Anyway, hope you like it…

Disclaimer: Not mine, not mine, not mine…

"You know," said Natsu, lying on his back under a tree, " I've always wondered about Happy."

"Wondered what?" asked Lucy, who was methodically pulling up blades off grass then dumping them onto a sleeping Gray.

"Well, he's always saying, 'Ay', and yet, I have no idea were he gets it from, no one in the guild says it." Replied Natsu thoughtfully.

" You know, that's true." Said Lucy, pausing in her grass pulling. "Natsu, didn't Happy hatch out of an egg?" She asked.

"Yep," he said.

"Do you know where the egg came from?"

"No we just found it, why?"

"Well I was thinking, do you think speech patterns are passed down through the blood?" Lucy asked.

"I dunno," said Natsu, "What would that have to do with anything?"

" Well, You don't know where the egg is from, and they say 'Ay' quite a lot in Canada."

"So your saying, that Happy is a Canadian, blue, flying, cat?"

"Well yes."

"But you guys have it all wrong," Gray was finally awake, "they say 'eh' in Canada. It's pirates that say 'Ay'. Am I right?" Lucy gave him a glare that could peel paint.

"That's true…" said Natsu, looking up at the clouds. "So does that mean he's a pirate?"

"Well, he also has wings, so what does that make him?" asked Gray.

"An angel?" asked Lucy.

"So he's an angelic pirate," said Natsu dryly.

"But that's an oxymoron," said Lucy, "You can't be angelic and a pirate at the same time."

"Well trust me, an angelic Canadian doesn't work either." Said Gray.

"Putting all of that aside," said Natsu, "He's blue too."

"So?"

"So if he's blue, well you know what that means."

*Silence*

"You don't mean,"

"It can't be."

"I do mean it, this means that happy is a… a angelic, Canadian pirate, that's also a… a… a Nuggets Fan!"
