Summary:Zim is the Smallest heir. After one big war the old enemies of The Late Empire want revenge and they are preparing themselves for war, the Irkens canot continue living separeted after the civil war and to make an better Irk they need to marry the Smallest heir, Zim, with the Tallest heir, Kez. But Zim being Zim doens't want to marry her and live a safe live, he wants to be an invader and make one big name for himself, so he prepares to scape. What will happen with the empire? Zim will manage to scape? Where Dib appeard in the middle of all this?

The Late Irken Empire was growing gloriously. Growing in a way that no other empire ever would or ever could. Everything was going perfectly and smoothly. Well. Almost everything…

You know, the Late Empire had this little problem where it still worked with the height hierarchy. Meaning that the leaders of the Late Empire where the tallest Irkens alive, and the biggest problem with this hierarchy is that with time, the leaders started being total idiots that could do nothing alone and would do everything for the Brains.

And it wasn't entirely because the leaders wanted to, but because the Control Brains where the ones who wished stupid and easily manipulated leaders, that would follow every order without questions.

As you learned, the Brains were machines created on the start of the Late Empire to control resources, numbers and create war strategies. So it didn't need a leader that would question its methods; resulting in total screwed leaders that in the end weren't leader at all.

For some centuries they worked rather fine together, but with time the leaders got dumber and the machines start to grow in number to get stronger and smarter; and finally, the machines decided that the Irkens could no longer control themselves and that the Irken race would be used by them to reach its primary objective.

Universal conquest.

And it worked fine, at least, for the Late Empire. The Irkens were extremely dependent of the machines, they could do nothing without their artificial intelligence, and they were just puppets on the hands of said intelligence.

In the time the universe was a total chaos, the Late Irken Empire was as strong and as unstoppable as it ever could possibly be, every planet and alliance was scared of this new threat; and they didn't knew what to do. So they basically just sit down and waited to be conquered.

But one strange little thing happened...

You know how the leaders were turned into dumber leaders with the time right? So. When the leaders started turning into total, and stupid, jerks that could do nothing alone, one tiny miny little thing -that could change everything- happened.

A resistance appear. And they called themselves Resisty.

I know, dumb name…

And the leader at the time, Tallest Fin, thought the same; Deciding that a resistance with such name was lame, and could never do anything against the Empire, so he thought 'Why finish with my own fun by telling the Control Brains about the Resisty? If I do this they would eliminate them, and that would be no fun!'

So, Tallest Fin decide to keep the Resisty as a secret from the Control Brains. Making them his private toy.

But what he didn't saw coming was that the Resisty would get bigger and stronger right under his lekkus.

After their fights against the Empire -being clearly weak- and even so managing to go away with most of its crew still alive, other planets, alliances, and races started joining the resistance.

They thought that if the Resisty could manage to escape alive with just a few members on its crew, with an bigger crew they could do harm to the Late Empire, and maybe, just maybe, finish with this gigantic threat.

I need to admit it. Their plan was kind brilliant, they let Tallest Fin think that he was in control, think that the Resisty still were lame and weak and that he could finish them whenever he wanted but in the end, it would be the opposite.

After some decabites on this little game, Tallest Fin finally grew bored of the resistance, and ordered to kill them all, but, when he ordered this and the Irken battleships start attacking with full force, the Resisty show its full power; Having so many ships that they manage to fight in number against the Late Empire.

The fight was intense, both sides were battling to get the upper hand just to lose it in the next battle.

The Control Brains discovered that Tallest Fin was the one who started the war by not telling them about the resistance and he was sentenced to die for betraying the Late Empire. But he couldn't die in the middle of the battle, so his trial was put on a hold on, even with everyone knowing that he would die in the end of the war.

The Late Empire, after some intense yeaks fighting, finally manage to get the upper hand and started to dissipate de Resisty. Tallest Fin was near his end and he knew it...

No one know till this day how the Resisty manage to do that. Some affirm that the Tallest had his claws involved, others say that it was just luck, and some even dare telling that they had insiders.

But fact is that in an last attempt to end with the Late Empire before being totally dissipated the Resisty manage to invade Irk, find the Primary Control Brain; The first Brain created and the one who would have the last word in any discussion. Being the father and mother unity to all Control Brains. After finding it, the Resisty use a never seen virus to destroy it.

After its destruction Irk entered in a situation of total chaos.

In the middle of the chaos the Resisty disappeared, the planets that went against the Late Empire were too weak and couldn't fight anymore, and after some diz, Irk entered in a civil war.

Without the effects caused by the PAK's; That were originated from the Control Brains. The smaller Irkens didn't need to follow the lead of the taller ones, they didn't fear and respect them anymore. And after some time they noticed the reality of their situation. So the smallers ended up hating the tallers.

And the tallers -without the Control Brains- couldn't do anything alone. Even because all manual work were made by the smallers. So they thought that they were still in control and tried to treat the smallers as they treated them before the fall of the Control Brains. But that wasn't going to work, because the small Irkens were no longer afraid from the tall ones.

And this was what started the civil war. In one side the tallers, they still called themselves as the Irken Empire and followed The Tallest. On the other side we had the smallers, that started calling themselves as the Irken Monarchy and followed the one who started to lead them; The Smallest.

After some time with battles against each other in the civil war, the planets that once were destroyed by the Late Empire started regaining their force. And now, finally, the Tallest and the Smallest ended up in an agreement, they could no longer fight against each other.

"And this is why you can't be an invader Prince Zim. You're the first son and heir from late Smallest Teen and Smaller Jay, you need to marry with Princess Kez, first daughter and heir from Tallest Miyuki and Taller Spork. The union of the heir of the Empire and the heir of the Monarchy is in meaning to create the Republic, a new Irk were everyone, independent of height, can be equal and.." The Irken with purple eyes stop for a sek and look to Zim "ZIM!" She screams and hit his desk with the black stalk that she was holding, making a big noise and startling Zim who jumps in his chair.

Now, having the prince attention she continued "Are you even listening to me? You need to understand how important this union is, it will be the first union between a Taller and a Smaller since.. Well EVER! It was never heard of a smaller and an taller together, being extremely important Zim"

Zim looks to his private teacher with bored and slightly stubborn eyes "But I don't want to marry her!"

The teacher opens her mouth to speak but Zim interrupts.

"She's a total stranger, I basically only know her name and face! We never met each other and suddenly, one diz, you all come to me and say; You'll be marrying a total stranger for the sake of all Irkens, now forget once and for all your silly dream and prepare to be the Smallest that EVERYONE WANTS TO SEE!" Zim finish with his hands on his desk and almost screaming in the face of his teacher.

"Zim.. I know this can and will be hard for you. But you need to understand that this is extremely important. The planets that were destroyed on the past by the Late Empire before the fall are reconstructing themselves and are preparing for war Zim.. War. They want revenge and if we continue separated like this we all. Are going. To die. We can't face our enemies like this. This is why this marriage is so important, with this ceremony the Irkens can be unite again and we'll be able to defend ourselves" the teacher try to convince the prince for the tenth time this diz, but he is just too stubborn.

"And why it need to be ME?! Why it can't be. I don't know. Skoodge!?" Zim answers angrily, he doesn't want to marry and have smeets and be all happy and stuff. He wants to be an invader, he wants to invade enemy planets and conquer them. And principally, he wants to have a big name for himself, like Zim the conquered of galaxies, not Zim the leader who hides behind his soldiers. Why no one can understand this!?

"Well, first of all he is an soldier, meaning that he's not even the Smallest heir, and second, you are smaller than him Zim" Zim gets angry with this statement "And you know perfectly well that we don't use height hierarchy. At least. Not anymore" The teacher answers knowing were Zim want to go, they already had this discussion nine times now and Zim is always trying to prove that Skoodge could be the Smallest with his height.

"But you all are trying to marry us because she is the tallest Irken ever born and.." Zim stops for a bit, his face getting a mix between yellow and green. He looks down "I am the smallest Irken ever born…" Zim tell this part so quietly that it couldn't even be called a whisper.

The teacher smile, almost chuckling, intrigued of how the Smallest prince is so ashamed of his height "Well" She starts after managing to stop her smiling face "This IS an important factor. But even if you weren't the smallest Irken ever born you still is the heir, so you would need to marry princess Kez either way" Zim looks angrily to his teacher and before he could tell anything else the pink door of the room slides to the side and Skoogde appears.

"Prince" Skoodge says bowing his head to zim "Royal teacher" Skoogde nodes his head to the old Irken in front of his prince.

"What know?" Zim ask angrily for being interrupted in the middle of his discussion.

"The Smallest wants you in the throne room. Now" Skoodge say it with urgency in his voice.
