The rocks crumbled down as Jason and I were flung into the cave. My knee hit the ground and I heard a crack. Sitting up straight I examined my leg. I extended it a few times and pain rushed throughout my leg. It was definitely broken. Unfortunately, this little adventure wasn't planned, so I didn't have an ambrosia or nectar. I turned my body around and saw Jason laying on the floor. Squirming over to him I began shouting his name. "Jason, Jason are you alright?" I said with a worried tone shaking his body. Is he dead, I thought. Then suddenly Jason bolted awake scaring me half to death. "Gotcha," he said poking me. "That wasn't funny," I told him hitting him lightly and scootched away. Jason got up and began dusting off the debri from his jeans. I felt something deep down that I hadn't felt in a long time. Something that had always felt strange to me. Something I hadn't felt since I was with him. The one I loved and the one who broke my heart. But I couldn't have these feelings for Jason. Not again… "It was kinda funny," Jason said as he searched the surroundings. I turned and gave him a funny look and stuck out my tongue. "Well at least I know you still care," he told me standing behind. " Excuse me," I said. "You still love me," Jason snickered while staring deep into my eyes. I turned away from his gaze and began, "That's the last thing I would ever feel." Jason muttered, "Yeah right." "Just to be clear Arista I have a girlfriend," Jason demanded, " A girlfriend that I would never hurt. So don't try anything." My face burned when he said those things to me. Everything that I had held in for a very long time burst out then and there. "YOU THINK I WOULD EVER WANT YOU BACK?! YOU HURT ME MORE THAN ANYONE EVER HAS! I LOVED YOU FOR GODS SAKE! YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO BE THE ONE! THE ONE I COULD TRUST! THE ONE WHO WOULDN'T DISAPPOINT ME! OBVIOUSLY I WAS WRONG." My eyes burned with tears. I turned from him and cried. "I did what I did to protect you. Why can't you understand that?" Jason asked. "How was I suppose to accepted the fact that you faked your death to protect me," I said. "I…." "I could hardly keep myself going knowing the love of my life was dead. And then I come to camp and find you...alive," I said. Jason looked down and stuttered, "I..I'm sorry." "It's to late to apologize."
