"Lelouch.........." C.C. whispered. Lelouch was asleep next to her, his head in her lap. She softly stroked his black hair, smiling.
Say my name, like you said it before. Say it with feeling.
C.C. couldn't help but laugh softly. The only one who had figured out her real name. The only one that it actually meant anything to her for them to know.
No, he must not die!
Maybe she protected him for another reason, other then her forgotten wish to die. But only maybe. But if so, then why?
C.C! If you're going to die, at least die smiling!!!
She made a promise. He had told her to smile when her wish was granted, to smile when she died. But maybe she didn't want to die after all?
What if he killed her? What if he ended her immortal life? Would that grant her wish? Forcing him to live that same way?
Lelouch opened his eyes slowly.
"C....C....." He whispered.
Lelouch sat up. C.C. looked at him with her bright eyes.
"Lelouch......"
"Do you know why snow is white?" C.C. asked quietly, putting her arms around Lelouch's neck. Her hair flopped back, and she looked gracefully into Lelouch's amethyst eyes.
"No... but I do think that snow is beautiful," Lelouch answered, leaning forward. He put on hand on C.C's hand, holding her up.
Lelouch gently pressed his lips to C.C's. C.C. returned the kiss, joyful at the flutter of her heart.
She never wanted to let go, never to end this moment. It was one of those few things that she would always remember.
Even though he too would be lost in the flow of time, does that mean that, right here and right now, she couldn't forget the binds of mortality?
The kiss lasted for a while, and when it broke apart, Lelouch lay in C.C's embrace. C.C. wished deep in her heart that the two could always be together.
C.C smiled. She was falling for him, falling in love with him. But why didn't she care? She had fallen in love before, many times, but none quite like this one.
C.C sat on the cart, her legs crossed and her hair in two plaits. Her head was on her hands, laying on the hay.
"Geass, the power of kings, condemns one to a life of solitude. That's not exactly true, is it Lelouch?" C.C asked.
Laying beside her was a pink crane. C.C smiled.

If her wish is granted, the least she could do was to smile as payment. Geass was meant to condemn one to solitude. But that wasn't true. Not exactly.
"You're right...... C.C...."
If you make these paper cranes, your wish will come true!!
'I wish to be with Lelouch. Forever............."
So, how was that? I hope none of the characters are OC........ anyway, I love the pairing , so this is based on the two. And no, I'm not telling you what the meaning meant. But I completely pictured that at the end of Code Geass....... so, if you want, picture this as an alternate ending. Kind of. Anyway, bye!!
