How long had they been playing this game? He would kiss another woman, she would kiss another man. It hurt like hell but it seemed to be an unavoidable truth. Oh sure, Daniel would get some action every once and a while, but that was of no consequence between them. Her latest fancy, tall and lean. Striking black hair with shining blue eyes and a pale creme colored skin. It made his heart clench, but what could he do? He was her supervisor, not only was it against regulations, but it was also against her best interests. Oh he knew he was quite a catch, but the problem was that he WAS. Past tense it seemed. Especially for a wonderful woman such as Sam Carter.
He didn't know why he continued to encourage these alien women, hell they weren't even green! Most likely because he wanted an even score, Jack contemplated. And here they were, waiting in front of the brilliant blue Stargate, waiting to go home, waiting for Sam to finish with her heartfelt goodbyes.
Here they were, Kissing Strangers.
