I hope you like this a lot, too! It's my shortest story I've ever written, and probably (hopefully) ever will. Let's just say before you begin that I despise Ron, and he is my least favorite character ever. So this is not very nice to him.
Now, pretty soon this author's note could be as long as the story, so here's the story!
Hermione Granger sat under a tree by the lake, her books spread out around her. She was just coming to the part about the Vanishing Spells in her book when Harry slid in next to her, leaning over her shoulder.
"Transfiguration?" he said. "McGonagall really has been giving us a lot of work."
"We have NEWTs next year," she said defensively. "We have to have a lot of work."
"Not that much," Harry protested. "Ron says-"
"What does Ronald say?" Hermione snapped. "Maybe that we shouldn't have any work at all."
Harry laughed. "Exactly. I'm not saying I agree with him. I know he's not right."
"That makes just you and me then," Hermione sighed. "He's so arrogant, he thinks he deserves everything."
Harry agreed with Hermione wholeheartedly. "I know," he admitted. "I understand why you don't like him anymore."
Hermione smiled slightly. "Good, because I'm sick of explaining it. Everybody who knows him has to understand."
Harry nodded. "I know. They probably do."
Hermione laughed, and Harry slid his arm around her. "I like you so much better then I like him," she said jokingly.
Harry grinned. "Me too. I could forget about him."
Hermione nodded. "I could, too."
Harry stood up, pulling Hermione up too. "Let's then," he suggested.
Hermione's face broke into a smile, and she threw herself into Harry's arms.

Seriously, I really want more reviews, and more reviewers (but if any of you four want to review my other stories, go right ahead!). So far I have written for Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Kingdom Keepers, and Star Trek. I'll probably write for more, though. I have an interesting selection of ships that I can do.
