Barbara gazed into Rosie's bright, beautiful eyes. "I'll always b there for u, u know that?"
It was at that exact moment that she realized that they would be together forever. It was the single most defying moment in their relationship, she wanted to go on the highest rooftops and scream it over the city; let their names echo into the ears of thousands of strangers.
But no one could know. It was their poisonous little secret; the black cloud that kept them awake at night just wondering. Wondering if they'd ever be able to publicize their love for each other. It was the secret that kept them apart, but in some peculiar way, it kept them together.
They'd eye each other during commercial breaks, and play footsie under the table. It was very middle school, but that's what Rosie loved about Barbara. It was her playful innocence that drew them together when they first met, and she found her naivety endearing. Little did they know that their little charade would soon come to en end; those three words instantly killing it.
"Barbara..I think I'm pregnant."
"What did you say!?" Barbara exclaimed with a terrifying look on her face (authors note: different thtan her normal).
"It's just..I'm..like..I think I'm preggers!" Rosie said in a shaky voice.
Barbara slapped her across her face. "I will not be lied to, I will not have you spur such filth onto my face! I could have you arrested!"
Barbara was right, she could go to jail. Rosie hadn't thought of that, and immediately started wailing loudly; her eyes filled with tears and her face still red from Rosie's vicious attack.
Rosie never meant for things to get this out of control. She knew they'd get caught eventually, she just couldn't think straight around the hot little jailbait that was Barbara. Here she was, sobbing uncontrollably on the bathroom floor, vomiting all over the Velcro carpet they'd bought together earlier that month, trying to think of a way to get herself out of this. Abortion wasn't an option; she was way too conservative for that. There was only one way out, and she knew she had to go through with it.
