Loki enjoys looking up to the Midgardian Moon. The stars on Asgard are more plenty, richer in their colours, but there is something about the 'Moon' that draws him in. Sitting on Starks Window ledge, hanging out of the gap, Loki will stare for hours, just watching as the object traces the sky, changing shapes with each passing day.

It was what had gotten them together if Loki is honest with himself, which rarely happens.

He had been passing by the others room in the Avengers headquarters; Stark had left his door open, so of course Loki had a peak. The view was amazing, and to top it all off Stark was no where in sight, so Loki had sat and watched, forehead pressed against the window. He hadn't noticed that the man had returned until the moon was setting, the sun rising, and he had turned to find Stark sleeping in the large bed. The next night, the door was open, Stark no where to be found, only the window had been spread wide, so that Loki could sit comfortably and watch the moon, with the night time air cooling his face.

That week Stark had caught a cold, something about it being winter time.

Loki's nightly visits had gone smoothly other than that, until the Moon did not come up one night, and Loki had panicked, thinking that someone had destroyed the one Midgardian thing he took pleasure in (other than pop tarts, those were amazing). As such Loki had grabbed Tony by the scruff of his collar, dragged him through the halls and pushed him into his room, demanding to know what he had done with the moon. Because Tony was the only person he could think of who would steal the moon to spite him. It was then that Loki realized he had stopped considering the man before as 'Stark'. He was now 'Tony'.

"… I haven't stolen the Moon." Tony had laughed, and Loki wanted to punch him in the face.

"I demand you tell me who has then."

"It's a Lunar Eclipse, the Moon will be back tomorrow, you have my word." the smile seemed sincere enough, but just to make sure that Tony was telling the truth…

"If it doesn't appear tomorrow night, you will wake in the belly of an Asgardian beast!"

True to his word, it had appeared the next night, and Loki was back to quickly watching the Moon, knowing that Tony was now carefully watching him, not that he could describe the look on Tony's face as anything other than comical.

Comical until one day, Tony actually acted upon the feelings spread over his face, and had approached Loki at the window.

"You know, in my house, in the countryside, the view is a lot nicer… maybe some time I could take you there? You know, after you've tired of destroying the world, or whatever."

Loki hated the way he had smiled, or how his shoulders had hunched up at the idea of being in the countryside looking up to the Moon.

"Yeah." he had breathed.
