Yuuya remembered his father with that cheesy smile that seemed imprinted on his face. He'd been – was – proud of his father, but sometimes he thought he was, saying to grin whenever something bad happened. And he'd do it too, smiling even when he was sad, when he lost.
But everyone around him was happy when he smiled and laughed and his eyes shined. Even Yuuya. Especially Yuuya – and that is why Yuuya now tries to fill in the empty seat his father's left behind…even if he's hiding behind the smile instead of being fuelled by it like his father was.
