"Hey Mereb," Aida said
Mereb bowed.
"Princess," he said.
She rolled her eyes.
"The name is Aida," he said, "You are my friend. I may be a princess but you are my friend. Don't ever bow again. That puts you at a lesser level then I am. In my opinion you're just as good as I am."
"You really think so?"
"Of course. Are you going to be at the dance tonight?"
"I can't," he said, "I don't have a partner and I haven't been invited"
"I'm inviting you," she said, "Come with me. I will be your partner"
"Thank you prin- Aida," he said
"That's more like it," she told him.
