Seth adjusted the mike in front of him and blinked to get his eyes used to the blinding stage lights. Normally he wouldn't have made an apology this public, but he and Summer had been fighting more than usual lately. He knew this was the only way to get her attention.
"Excuse me," he spoke into the mike, "I'd like to dedicate this song to my beautiful wife Summer. I know I'm an idiot sometimes, but I want you to know that I will always be here for you."

Summer wiped a tear from her eyes as her husband finished the song. Unable to contain herself anymore, she ran to the stage, threw her arms around Seth, and kissed him passionately. As she pulled away, she whispered in his ear a soft 'I love you'.
Seth grinned. "You know I'll always be here."
"I know," she replied before kissing her husband once again.
