Elphaba's Ten Commandments

Authors note: I know this is kind of weird and off the top of my head "random" for short.
One day Elphaba was bored to tears even though her allergy to water made her unable to release the salty little water droplets that many people took advantage of releasing, but sadly she could not. So, being as witty and creative as she was she grabbed a piece of lined paper and numbered it one through ten. Elphaba also wrote at the top of the page: My Ten Commandments.
Always follow your parent' s rules to avoid getting beat.
Always have something witty to say in case teased about " skin color" or anything else.
Always be smarter than your classmates.
Always speak your mind.
Always be strong and don't let anybody know what you're feeling.
Never tell a secret in less need be.
Be convincing.
Never trust 12-year-olds.
Avoid being bitten by mangy little dogs.
Avoid falling houses and buckets of water.
To sum these ten things up just " Defy gravity".
