England's Fall – Taken From the Journals of Lord Neville Longbottom
We arrived at the site of Buckingham palace to find it under attack by a large force of dark wizards, the entire remnants of the Royal Armed forces had gathered there and were in the process of making one hell of a last stand.
I still remember the look on Harry's face when he looked down at them, before giving us the only command of the battle he would give "No Quarter" and we didn't.
Once Harry had apperated away into the palace we all apperated down in front of the Royal lines and begun violently engaging the force of death-eaters that were hammering away at the muggle forces.
In the twenty minutes that followed, myself, Hermione Potter, Headmaster Dumbledore, Remus Lupin and Auror Moody fought alongside the muggle army managing to hold back what we later found out was the entire dark army.
The following memory portions are from Harry Potter's perspective as he arranged the evacuation of the ruling monarch of the United Kingdom and her heir apparent.
Harry appeared a large room, that look to have once been a large formal receiving room; now it just looked like most everything else in London…a battle zone.
Shocking everyone around with a bright flash of light he stood in the centre of the room his flowing white battle robes blowing in an unseen wind, he knelt down before the Queen and addressed her.
"Your Majesty, my name is Harry Potter. I am a commander in the light side army, facing off against the monsters that are destroying this country," he said quietly, as he looked up letting his hood fall back off his head, taking note of the automatic weapons which all seemed to be aimed at his head.
The Queen looked astonished at the young man before her as he spoke, until she heard his name and her eyes went wide. Letting Harry finish she finally spoke up in a soft yet commanding voice "Stand down men, this young man is an ally of the throne."
"Young Lord Potter, my husband once told me that if I was ever faced with a member of the house of Potter I was to trust them implicitly. Would you mind telling me your take on this?" she asked Harry.
Harry smiled at her and rose from his knees before he addressed her, "Your Majesty, the Potters have always been the most ardent supporters of the Throne of England. My purpose here is to ensure you and your family escape, we cannot fight our enemies and protect your family," he paused to take a slow breath before continuing "You and your family must survive if the United Kingdom is to survive this war."
The Queen stood there in silence for a few minutes, seeming to ponder what she had been told, before she looked to one of her military advisors and nodded once, the man quickly leaving the room.
"Very well Lord Potter, I will do as you have asked and evacuate. In my absence I am making you Lord Potter the military governor of the United Kingdom. You WILL restore peace to the kingdom Lord Potter!" she said staring intently at Harry.
Harry bowed low before standing back up straight his eyes glowing with restrained power "As you command your Majesty!"
'This was a memory from Harry Potter, Left in the safe keeping of Hermione Potter before his death'
Once Harry had come outside and joined us, I suppose at a rough count we destroyed close on one hundred of the enemy, however we were starting to lose ground. When I saw Lord Potter approach the muggle military commander I apperated to him just in time to hear him give the announcement that the royal family had evacuated to safety.
We were then joined by Harry as we faced off against the dark army, providing cover for the muggle army to retreat, before we too apperated away. Later that day we heard that the forces of the dark had completely destroyed the palace.
