Hermione was on her way to Hogsmeade when a snowball slammed against the back of her head.

Furious, she turned around to verbally assault her attacker, but no one was in sight. Immediately aware of what was going on, she took out her wand, pointed it at where the footprints in the snow stopped, and shouted "Flipendo!"

"Ow, 'Mione, that hurt."

Ron appeared from beneath the invisibility cloak that had been knocked off during his impact against the wet ground. He looked up see Hermione approaching him fast, with a look on her face that showed no sympathy. "I'm all bruised up," He managed to say, and swallowed hard.

She knelt down, wand still in hand. "You're going to have to do better than that," She said ignoring his comment, and pointed her wand at his face.

Ron closed his eyes as he always did when he wanted to pretend the unfortunate situation in front of him didn't exist. But an attack did not come. Instead, she pressed her lips hard against Ron's.

"You always play dirty," Ron said under his breath when Hermione finally pulled away.

"Shut up," Hermione said with a grin. "You know you like it."
