prologue
A gentle rumble crawled through the house. She had awaken. After many years of hiding in the dark, she had her chance. The chance to come back. The chance to be alive.
It can't be that hard to win one's heart in a week.
Can it?
Chapter one: Ghost in the Fridge
Edd woke one morning with a chill running through the house. A web of cold spots seemed to weave through the halls of his home, each one leading to nownowhere. A deep feeling of something had settled. But what it was exactly couldn't be placed. All you could say was it felt off.
Of course the cola-loving artist was the first one awake. Tom was most likely sleeping off a hangover, Matt was attempting to get extra "beauty sleep", and Tord's sleeping form was visible on the couch. Chances were the Norwegian had stayed up far too late watching "Insane Zombie Pirates from Hell", or god knows what else. Edd felt he shouldn't disturb him. Tom and Tord faught too often, which was bound to tire them out. So rest would benefit them both.
Dressed in his usual "SMEG HEAD" tshirt, Edd ventured into the kitchen. Maybe I should make breakfast for everyone, he thought to himself. Edd decided that was a good idea and opened the fridge to begin hunting for breakfast-food-type-items. The door opened silently, to reveal a pale figure inside the fridge.
The face of this figure had a pale complexion and wide eyes. The left eye was the same shade of a perfectly polished turquoise gemgemstone, the right a brilliant electric green. Both orbs were glowing slightly. Wisps of blonde hair floated gently around the figure's head, and brushed around it's shoulders. A mouth with well defined lips was set in an expression of surprise. But the most surprising, and slightly unnerving part of this figure was that it was semi transparent.
The body of the firgure was entirely inside the fridge. Though the racks inside the refrigerator were inside said body. Unsurprisingly the figure just hovered, unbothered by the food and metal passing inside it's pale frame. A gentle blue mist hung around what Edd assumed was a ghost, bathing the fridge in a pale cerulean light.
Edd rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't dreaming. The ghost inside the fridge was still there. It raised one of it's semi transparent hands and gave a small wave.
"Hello."
And Edd began to scream.
