I never thought that it would end this way. But in a real sense I fill fine. Whole. But still as I stare death in the face I fill like all of this was meant to happen. Me and my new family and my old. This has been a great time in my life and I guess im ready to die because one person isn't entitled to have such happiness.

chapter one:surprise

"First day at new school come on!!" Corie shouted with a hint of ha ha in it.

"So what grade am I in this year?"I said bleakly. No hint of enthusiasim there at all.

To tell you the truth I like going to college better then high school because not every boy is daydreaming about being with are mature enough to ask me questions without looking at my boobs. But of course high school always comes first .

"Um what grade do you want to be in?" Faith asked just like Corie.

Ha ha very funny.

"Okay what are you guys hiding?"

"Umm…Katie is going to college….sorry." Faith said apologetically.

I couldn't be mad at her but I can be mad at Katie. Its not really fair because im older than her by about 50 years.

"We tried to get you in but we couldn't so don't be mad at us, be mad at the unfair school system."Katie said with a smug smile on her danty little face.

Katie has always been prettier than has long brown hair and has been a model and a actress. But what really kills me is she is so self is so full of herself its unreal. But after all she is my best friend my only friend.

Corie and Faith are my parents.(well adopted but still.)I love them so much no words can discribe the respect I have for them. They truly are my role models. But of course they are beautiful to just not as beautiful as Katie.

Im normal for a vampire but still unhumanly beautiful. We are outcasts in this world. I don't belong, I've never belonged anywhere. I'm a monster, a freak of nature. Cursed to roam this earth forever.

"Come on Kayla its time to leave!!" Corie shouted still in ha ha mode.

"Um I already have. There at your um…by the way your school is forks high school. Bye!!" Corie said the last part in the ha ha voice.

"Okay fine. Bye."I said icily. But before he could respond I was off in my mustang G.T.O. . I have to have a car here I cant just run all the way to school. It kills me I love speed and cars just don't go fast enough. But I was at school in 5 minutes. I whipped in the nearst parking space and looked around. No one was there. So I just put in my favorite all american rejects CD and waited. Sometimes I wish I could sleep. This gets so boring.

I decided to get out when other people stared to come. But one car caught my eye it was a silver in to the parking lot with such speed like how I drive. Oh well he will just get a ticket. So as he whiped in the parking space right beside me I got curious. I went back to my mustang and got something out of it like I forgot something. So when I looked over there he was just sitting there looking at me like I was a freak of nature. And then I got a glimes at his eyes. I knew him. He was one of us. He was a vampire.
