I do not own Harry Potter or any of the characters, only my ideas. I may add onto this, but if I do, the chapters probably won't be related. WARNING: Feels Alert

Hermione, driven in a state of madness, wrote a letter to Fred once a week for 50 years after his death. One day, George found all the unsent letters in Hermione's dresser drawer, and started replying to all the letters. George then went down to the kitchen where Hermione was and said "Fred wrote back." with a little smirk on his face. Hermione's eyes glistened at George like they once did for Fred. She went into the living room of the Burrow and started reading all the letters. When Fred went into the living room that night, he found Hermione lying on the floor, asleep. But she was clutching the letters. Her index finger was on the final sentence of the last letter and it read "Love always, Fred." George then carried Hermione up to her room and set her down on her bed. Hermione died at the age of 94. After Fred died her eyes never glistened like they did for Fred. By the time she died, she never married. Hermione never told anyone why. Except for George, from what Hermione told George, she never wed because Fred was Hermione's true love, and she didn't want to marry anybody but Fred. She died re-reading the final letter that George had replied to as Fred. She died smiling.
