This story may make little sense if you do not understand the events of Chaos Chronicles of Rage the Hedgehog in an AU
My name is Rage the Hedgehog I have been stuck in a wild goose chase to stop Christain the Dark's plans for inter-dimensional domination, I have found myself needing to finish up a device to help me locate his "Dark Emeralds" and I am just finishing it up,
Rage was sitting on his workbench with a small electronic pad hooked up to a programming module. Rage was coding the Chaos Flux capacitor when his BIOS screen went all crazy
"Shit!" Rage was able to get out before the device blinded him in a white light.
Rage was slowly coming to his senses and he finally opens his eyes. He notices a dark blue hedgehog with a dark red shirt, shorts, a leather sash lined with small pouches with a guard covering his right shoulder and a sword sheath connected. The sash meet at a small leather belt with more pouches, and little vials filled with different liquids in leather holds that were made for bullets. On the right of the vials was a large satchel with the top of a book poking out with the handles of a set of daggers beside it.
"Glad to see you're awake, I was afraid you were dead…" he chuckles opening his eyes to reveal a purple tint to them
"Where am I?" Rage asks sitting up slowly looking at the hedgehog
"You're in my woodland outpost. I found you out cold in the middle of the forest with those emeralds nearby. Who are you?" the hedgehog explains standing up straight looking at Rage with a curious but nervous look
"I am Rage the Hedgehog guardian of Chaos…" Rage says softly, he still felt weak from whatever happened back in his lab
"Chaos?" the hedgehog asks "But that's impossible the Chaos Emeralds were destroyed by our Dark Overlord years ago."
"What do you mean?" Rage asks in confusion
"Guess I have some explaining to do…"the hedgehog takes a deep breath before continuing
My name is Jaden the Hedgehog, I was the leader of a small hunter's organization until what is known now as "The Day of Darkness" came… One fateful day the King of the dark realm Christian the Dark invaded our world after killing their guardian he destroyed the Chaos Emeralds and our world was plunged into darkness. All the citizens are forced to bow to him. And they do without question, he keeps the cities fenced off from the wilderness and keeps a close eye on them. I am the only one who was able to escape so I live here alone to prevent being caught out of code dress by others.
"I think I know whats going on… my device sent me to an Alternate Universe where Chirstian succeeded in his goals…" Rage thinks silently, "Well then…" Rage chuckles, "Guess, I chose a good time to drop in… Christian will not be ruling you for long."
"Rage, are you crazy?! Christian is the strongest dark being ever! Only the Chaos Emeralds could defeat him!" Jaden yells in protest
"Well then he's going to get a large surprise…" Rage smiles holding up the green Chaos Emerald "Chaos…Rejuve!" he yells allowing his wounds to heal quickly.
Jaden looked at Rage in disbelief "that was….chaos energy!" he stammers trying to comprehend what just happened.
"Yup!" Rage smirks "I am the Guardian of the Chaos Emeralds, I have all the Chaos energy I need! Now then time to fry some ass!"
"I'm coming with you Rage! If you fight then I will help you!" Jaden says tightening his leather sash "Besides I know where the Dark portals are and how to sneak past the guards."
"Okay just come on!" Rage yells rushing Jaden to hurry up and head for the forest.
