'Nope... Nope it's not happening. This is all some twisted joke... Not a funny joke either.' Harls thought to herself as those dreaded words came out Leaf's mouth: I'm moving away.

The day came by quickly. Loz stubbled up to the door of the house that would soon be up for sale and, with a shaking hand, knocked on the door. Leaf swung the door open to find Loz standing there, her eyes red and her mascara smudged dramatically from crying.

"Come here you daft bugger!" Leaf half chuckled and half sobbed, pulling the lanky trembling figure of Loz into a tight embrace.

"Your not really going, right? This is all some hoax... Right? Leaf?" She sobbed.

"I'm sorry Loz... I wish it was"

"It's not funny any more... The jokes up. You can start putting all your stuff back into the house now. Here... I'll help." She stuttered, passing Leaf various Doctor Who merchandise before falling to her knees in a violent wave of tears that stung her bright blue eyes; smudged her mascara down her pale cheeks before cascading onto the floor. Leaf sat down on the floor beside Loz and cried with her.

" H..Hey, Remember that one time when I pissed you off so much you called me a 'Short Ginger Ogre' ?" Leaf tried, nudging Loz.

"Mmhmm" came the reply from the curled up body.

"C..Can't you j..just use your T..TARDIS and g..go back in time to C..change your p..parents m..minds about the... Move?" Loz stuttered between bursts of breathlessness. This caused Leaf to smile sadly down upon Loz, her auburn hair glowing in the sunlight.

"I wish it was that simple Loz..."

"LAUREN! Time to go!" Leaf's parents called from the car.

"Just promise you won't forget me, Loz... I know you joke about it alot... But you got to promise." Muttered Leaf.

"Never. I promise..." Loz replied quietly, counting the freckles on the face she would never see again.

"LAUREN! NOW!"

"Well... I guess this is goodbye Loz. I don't want to go!" Leaf said, embracing her friend for the last time. Loz cried and, into Leaf's ear, whispered:

"I'll come running to you when you call... No need to say Goodbye..."
