There once lived a young boy. He hated reality. Always had and always will. From the time, he could read he never put down a book, from the time he understood the true beauty of music, he never stopped listening or playing. This little boy used every method he knew to escape the real world. Sadly after some time he discovered he could no longer tell the difference between his fantasy worlds, the ones only written or sung about, and the one he was living. However, he did not fear this. In fact, he enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, in his mixed worlds of reality and fantasy, he began to stop eating, drinking and sleeping. His brain was so confused and was over-worked until one day he just shutdown completely. He lapsed into a deep coma. That is where the real story began.

"Tsk, tsk", someone clucked their tongue very close to my ear. Slowly, I managed to open my eyes a tiny slither. Light rushed in. On their own will, my eyelids closed the tiny gap. When I tried to open them again, they felt like they weighed the same as an elephant. Maybe in a couple more hours they will be lighter. I knew I should not go back into the darkness but it was too late. It was just so peaceful there. No voices, no delusions, no thoughts, just complete silence and blackness. What's not welcoming about that?

Too soon, the darkness faded away. I was aware of voices near me but they sounded so far away. I tried again to open my eyes, this time it felt like they weight the same as a heavily pregnant cow. I managed to get them open further. There was a gasp on the direction of the murmurs and I saw a flash of movement. By movement, I mean a shadow fell across my line of vision then quickly disappeared. They were more voices but none of them were clear enough for me to be able understand what they were saying. I couldn't even decipher if the voices were male or female. Everything seemed somewhat fuzzy. Like my brain was full of cotton balls. Nothing was making any sense.

Just then, a sound shot through the haze in my brain and everything became clear. There was a sweet, high voice, clearly female. She was singing some beautiful song I had never heard, in words that were completely unknown. I ran out of words to describe her song. Simply, there were no words to describe it.
