It was a beautiful sunny day on the Met U campus. The birds were chirping and a sea of students busily bustled around. For Bart Allen this meant one thing…time to do some shopping. He raced around from person to person in a flash of light, grabbing anything that looked to be of value out of their purses and back packs. As he approached another crowd of students he noticed a pretty young blonde. Something inside of him went off and he knew that he had seen her somewhere before. He stopped and watched her as she passed by him. A cocky grin spread across his face when he remembered that she was Clark's friend and he had met her when he was in Smallville. He raced off to the closest flower shop and popped up in front of her within a fraction of a second. Chloe jumped back startled and looked at the cute boy standing in front of her holding a pink tulip.
"Tulips are still your favorite aren't they Chloe?"
She looked at him trying to figure out who he was.
"You're Bart right?" She asked, taking the flower.
"Correct."
"What are you doing here in Metropolis?" She asked, still amazed to see him and amazed that he remembered that tulips were her favorite flower.
"I was just in the neighborhood and I couldn't help but stop and say hi to the prettiest girl I know."
Chloe couldn't stop herself from blushing.
"Look I know you shot me down before but why don't we go get something to eat and you can give me a second chance."
She knew that she shouldn't but something inside of her couldn't help but be attracted to him.
'Well he is cute' she thought. 'And he did remember my favorite flower.'Bart smiled smugly when she took his hand. She was smart, sexy, and strong, not like the bimbos he usually went after, and he liked that. This was going to be interesting.
Hey everyone I am currently working on a few more chapters for my other stories and I wanted to start a new story. I liked the chemistry that Chloe and Bart had on the show in their brief scene and thought it would be cool to write a fic about them. This will be Chlark, as all my stories are. I hope they do something like this next season and bring back the Flash. Hope you enjoy it.
