She was sitting in the library
Her face buried in a book, her mouse brown hair fallen into her face
She looked up and her eyes sparkled like the ruby on his moms necklaces
Jacob woke with a start
He was sweating and his covers askew
He kept dreaming about Bella over and over again
Was it a sign she would become evil as a vampire or just that he didn't want her to be considered his enemy
He loved Bella and didn't want to loose her
Jacob got up his hair a mess but he didn't care
He walked outside into the night air
It was crisp and he tasted rain coming
But a pungent smell had filled the air
"Those damn vampires again!" he muttered under his breath
"Yeah their just so disgusting." A voice whispered
Jacob turned around but no one was there
Was he going crazy?
"I'm just imagining things." He thought to himself
"Your not crazy there is someone here." Came the voice again a sarcastic laugh came along with it
Bella stepped from the shadows of the brush
"Damnit Bella you scared the hell out of me."
She had a different look to her in the moonlight
"Bella what are you doing here this time of night Edwards going to kill you!"
Her brown mousy hair had sudden shine to it and it looked darker her face pale but her beauty…left him speechless.
She finally spoke "Jacob it's done."
"What's done what the hell…?" All the sudden it struck him the newness to her shiny skin her lanky walk. She was a vampire
"So it was you I smelled, your one of them now!"
"I wanted to come and talk to you before but I couldn't because I knew you would be mad and I have a feeling you are right now." She said
"Get off my property you blood sucker!" he turned his back and stormed inside. How could she just leave him and never even say goodbye she's gone now, her beautiful innocent soul was gone. All for Edward, stupid Edward Cullen!
He turned around and there she was. He could smell the stench radiating off her skin but he didn't care her eyes blazed up like embers in a fire
"I didn't want to leave you Jacob but I love Edward and this is the only way I could be with him forever and I wanted to come and say goodbye…because were leaving."
She was looking down and fiddling with the bracelet he had given her. There were two charms and he knew that in her life he would always come second to Edward no matter what.
"Where are you going?" he said crossly
"Were going to Alaska." She said in a whisper
"Well then bye." Jacob turned his back once again but she had already stepped in front of him. Their stupid super speed god it was so annoying.
"Before I go I wanted to give you this." She handed him a rose with a black ribbon tied around it. "Because I will always love you in a shape or form as a brother or more…" all the sudden her cold lips were on his. For once he ignored the putrid stench and kissed her back "thanks Bella im sorry that we can't be together … and that your leaving but thank you for coming to say goodbye."
"Your welcome." she said with a small smile on her pale face.
All the sudden she was gone as if she was a ghost and had never been there. The screen door slammed quietly.
She was gone like that. Jacob walked outside and saw her standing at the forests edge with Edward. They kissed and he embraced her. Jacob was sad Bella was going but at least that bastard vampire would take care of her. Then the couple disappeared into the darkness and the essence of Bella's kiss still in Jacobs's mouth.
