Summery:This is their summer,the last summer. The summer after losing Grandpa Max and defeating the DNAliens once and for all, Ben finds himself losing something else, his life, and gaining something, his love. KevinxBen Character Death.

Ben's life was good. He had dozens of friend all over the country. Even if those friends happened to mostly be half-aliens protecting their town from other aliens.
But nevertheless, good friends. But one friend hadn't contacted Ben after that summer.
Kevin hadn't called or contacted Ben at all since he rode off into the sunset after dropping Ben off at his house. And giving him that insanely unexpected goodbye kiss. Gwen said he hadn't contacted he either and shared in his worry.
Ben is walking home, kicking his soccer ball when he suddenly feels dizzy. He puts a hand to his mouth and nearly gags, leaning against a fence for support.
'God I feel sick.'
Ben's knees buckle and he falls to his knees bending over to puke on the ground. His vision goes black and he forces himself to sit up, leaning heavily against the fence.
"Ben?!" Ben hears a familiar voice as his body goes limp and his world goes black.
Ben's eyes flutter open and stare into a dark room with white walls and ceilings. He feels an oxygen mask on his face and reaches up a hand to take it off when a cold hand clasps on his wrist.
"Easy Teneson."
"Kevin?"
Black eyes meet his green and he sees a cocky smile.
"The one and only. So how do you feel?"
Ben glares at him with a "do you really need to ask that question", look.
Kevin chuckles lightly and lets go of Ben's wrist.
"Right, not good got it."
"Where am I."
"The Plumber hospital. Your Omnitrix was flashing so I figured it had something to do with you collapsing like that. Has that happened before?"
"No, I've been feeling tired the past few weeks though."
Kevin nods and Ben starts to nod off, struggling to stay awake to talk to Kevin.
"Hey man if your tired you can go to sleep."
"How do I know that you won't ride of into the sunset again, Mr. Dramatic."
Kevin smirks and then leans over, slipping the mask off Ben's face.
"Well if I do I'm not leaving without one of these."
Kevin's mouth descends upon Ben's and their lips move against each others. Kevin pulls away and smirks as Ben blushes a bright red, staring up at him. Kevin slips the mask back on Ben's face and gives him a kiss on the forehead.
"Nighty Night, Teneson." He says, pressing a button on the side of the mask.
A strange smell fills Ben nose and he slips into a deep sleep.

"What do you mean?"
Ben spots Gwen in the corner, hands shaking and Kevin is leaning against the wall by
Ben's bed and is looking at him with sorrow in his eyes.
"Mr. Teneson, we have come to the terrible conclusion that you have three months to live."
