This is my first fanfic so be gentle with me……it takes place during soul reaver 2 and defiance…I think it'll probably be a little jumbled... I own nothing except Mina and her world…SO THERE! Rated for later chapters…..probably gonna be violent….and rude…..
Kain stared at the ripples, there was some sort of disturbance occurring in reality. An oddity which seemed to be getting worse every passing second, something was trying to push through the barriers of time and space.
Mina woke up gasping; there was an odd tugging sensation in the pit of her stomach, just like if she was going to shape shift. What the hell?! Was all she had time for, before the world around her twisted and the pulling sensation in her stomach tugged harder. She was pulled through….something, into a dark abyss, which felt like it was flying past.
The odd sense of pressure increased and Kain began to doubt the wisdom in waiting to see what would come through the rift and surveyed his surroundings to find a suitable observation point. Kain jumped to a ledge formed by the cliff above the rift and waited to see what come.
Mina yelled as she hit another something then smashed right on through. Light flooded her senses as she tumbled out onto grass and bumped her head on something hard and point. Mina blinked slowly adjusting to brightness. When she could see again she stared open-mouthed at her surrounds. It was totally different to any of the bushlands any where NEAR her house. The trees were different they looked like ones she'd seen in pictures of England. Wherever she was, it was NOT Australia, NSW, The Blue Mountains. Oh, bugger.
Kain stared at the strangely clothed girl; her brown-red hair was cut short. Her skin was oddly pale, perhaps she was some form of human nobility and had spent most of her life indoors, but the most intriguing of all was her scent. She smelled for the most part, human….but there was this odd, part to it …almost like an aftertaste which reminded Kain of building energy, like the just before he released a telekinetic blast. How that came out in a smell he didn't know…..
Just then screams came across from the clearing.
Well that's it for now…sorry it is so short and I will explain about the shape shifting later….. Mwhahahahaha! I just had to use the Blue mountains…my cousins live there and I LOVE it there!! BTW if you review and say it is bad…can you tell me what I can do to fix it? I do not appreciate non-constructive criticism.
