Sonny With A Chance – Goodbye Connie
"So, Have you told everyone about us?" Asks Chad.
"Nearly. I'm just dreading telling my mom, She'll think your using me. She will try and break us up she's like that!" Says Sonny worried.
"Don't let her bother you, If she really cares about you and your happiness she'll understand the way we feel about each other." Says Chad sweetly.
"But what if she doesn't?" Asks Sonny nervously as she walks towards her mom's apartment.
"I don't know." Says Chad watching Sonny knock on the door and her mom open it with joy.
"SONNY!" Begins Connie smiling and then turning to Chad.
"What's HE doing here?" Asks Connie in a strange voice.
"I've got something to tell you…" Says Sonny walking in with Chad and closing the door behind her.
"This better not be what I think it is…" Says Connie.
"That depends on what your thinking." Says Chad as he receives a stone glare from Connie.
"Right I'm going to shut up." Chad slowly backing away.
"Look mom. I've had time to think it over and I wanna be with Chad, I don't care how many times he breaks my heart or I hurt him. I will always love him, And if you can't accept us then I guess I wont accept you…" Says Sonny looking over towards Chad who looks concerned.
"Sonny you don't have–" Begins Chad being cut off.
"I do, Chad. I need her to know the way I feel." Says Sonny.
"But-" Says Chad being cut off again.
"BUT NOTHING!" Shouts Sonny.
"You wont accept me? What does that mean." Connie looks shocked.
"Well let's just hope it doesn't come to that, Ay mom. Now, Are you okay with me and Chad being together and are you willing to accept the fact he's mine, And I'm his?" Asks Sonny as Connie walks over to her.
"Sonny, Don't you remember what he did to you." Connie walks towards Sonny.
"Yes. And he had his reason. So do I for taking him back. And I guess you don't approve?" Sonny backs away from the reach of her mother.
"Of course not…" Replies Connie.
"I'm not letting you get hurt again." Says Connie turning to Chad and glaring at him once more before looking back at her daughters heartbroken face.
"You don't have too." Says Sonny grabbing Chad's hand, walking into her bedroom and slamming the door.
"What are you doing?" Asks Chad as Sonny beings packing her things from her room.
"What does it look like?" Sonny rushing around piling clothes in a large bag.
"You can't do this." Chad standing in front of her.
"I think I can. I'm doing it for me. I'm doing it for us." Sonny slowly moves Chad out of the way.
Moments later Sonny and Chad both walk out into the living room.
"Sonny?" Asks Connie as Chad walks out holding Sonny's bags.
"Goodbye… Connie." Says Sonny walking out the door with Chad holding back tears and slamming the door behind her.
