Drabble for Ouka
Eve and Ouka have been married for over a year now, having dated for five.
Today they we're going to officially adopt a child named Eden from the adoption center, a ten year old who had grown up in many different orphanages. They had been visiting her for over a month now, quickly getting to know the girl and loving her. The child, with her kindness and humor, quickly won Ouka and Eve over. They were finally able to take Eden home with them.
This was a big step in their relationship. Ouka was uncertain at first, worrying that a child could cause both much stress due to both of them having jobs. Eve quickly changed Ouka's mind, telling her of all the pluses of having a child and how much fun it would be watching the child grow. Ouka went along with it, though scoffed when Eve said it would be fun. She thought it would be sadder to watch the kid grow up and leave them. Eve then proceed to kiss the heck out of the pink haired girl, telling her to shut up and everything would work itself out in the end.
It wasn't easy, getting adoption rights. Being as Ouka and Eve were in a same sex marriage, they were often looked down upon. It was hard on both the girls. Sometimes they had just wanted to give up. But looking at how happy Eden looked whenever they visited gave them enough strength to push forward. Now their hard work was paying off.
Now their life could truly start.
