Let My Eyes Do the Talking

I've always been one to think with my head. Emotions tend to get in the way. Not that I don't have any. It's just easier not to let them control my life. Until he came along. I don't know how he got past my defenses. I find him creeping inside my head and my day doesn't feel right until I talk to him at least once. I find that I look for him now. It's come to where I recognize his footsteps in the hall, his scent in the air. How he brings a charge of electricity with him. Even my scientific mind can't explain what he does to me. I understand the rush of endorphins, the need to procreate with a healthy, well-formed man. What I don't understand is how it goes deeper than that. How his charm smile makes me agree with anything, that in his arms is the only place that I feel that I belong. When he held me in the barn, he made me believe again. That there is someone out there that understands me. There doesn't have to be words. One glance between us can say it all. And I'm slowly beginning to learn that I can believe what I see in his eye, that's its okay to let go with him. Maybe one day I'll be able to tell him. Until then I'll just let my eyes do the talking.
