Ash and Serena were walking to a diner for thier date.
Serena was replaying how Ash had asked her...

"Hey!" Clemont had called. "What?" Ash asked as he set up a camp near town. "Have you seen bonnie?" Clemont asked. Ash shook his head. "No, should we look for her?" He asked. "No, I'm right here." Bonnie said walking from some bushes. "We're have you been!" Clemont said. "I was chasing dedenne!" She said pouting. "De nenne ne!" Dedenne said.
"Have you seen Serena? I want to ask her something." Ash said. "I haven't." Bonnie said. "But what are you going to ask her?" Clemont asked curiously. "I want to ask her on a date... I sorta, um, care for her more... Than a friend?" Ash stammered turning red. Bonni and Clemont didn't look surprised.
"Ah finally! About time." Bonnie said. "What!" Ash said. "We have seen the looks you shoot each other. You both clearly have feelings for each other." Clemont said.
Serena then came to the site with fennekin and pancham. "Hey guys!" She said. "Hi ash." She said lightly. "Um, Serena can I ask you something?" Ash said slowly. Serena looked worried. "Sure." She said.
Ash led her to a river. "Umm like I was saying." Ash said. "Yes?" She said. "Do you um... What to.. Go on a.. Date?" He stammered. Serena eyes lit up. "Yes!" She shouted hugging him.

They had arrived at a diner. A kind waiter led them to a table and Serena sat next to Ash. Thier pokemon were on the other side, watching them. They ordered some food and talked.
"So ash?" Serena asked. "Yes?" Ash said. "How long did you have feelings for me?" She asked. She blinked and Ash said. "Ever since we met in oak's summer camp, you were the pretty one there!" She smiled and blushed lightly. Suddenly there was a flash and the pair and thier pokemon looked up.
"Attention! We will now have the daily battle bonus challenge!" An announcer said.
Ash tapped his waiter's shoulder. "Hello, what is the battle bonus challenge?" He asked. "Oh it's this challenge that if you defeat the owners of this joint, they give you a 2 day stay at sunshine hotel for 2 people." The waiter said.
Ash glanced at Serena and smiled. "Cmon, we should try it!" Ash said. "Alright, it would be a wonderful stay!" She said. "It will be special." Ash said making Serena chuckle.
They got up and Pikachu jumped on ash's shoulder. Serena picked up fennekin and fennekin smiled. They walked up to two people on a stage. "Hi, are you the owners?" Ash asked.
"Yes, are you going to challenge us?" They said. "Yes, I'm ash, and this is my date, Serena." Ash said. "Awww, that's sweet, are you planning to go to the hotel if you beat us?" The girl said. Ash and Serena blushed and nodded. "Yes."
"Then let's start our battle!"
...
"Alright, go Pikachu!" Ash shouted. "Go Fennekin!" Serena shouted. The pokemon walked on the field. "Alright, go servine!" The man said. His name is Dan. "Go dewott!" The girl shouted. Her name is dania.
"Unova starters." Ash said.
"Pikachu! Use thunderbolt on dewott!" Ash shouted. "Counter with water gun!" Dania said. "Go right back with flamethrower!" Serena shouted. Fennekin unleashed a flamethrower, with canceled out the water gun. The Lightning bolt struck dewott. "Oh no!" Dania shouted. "No problem, servine, use leaf tornado!"
Servine spun on its nose, and created a tornado. It moved toward Pikachu. "Pikachu deflect with iron tail!" Ash shouted. Pikchu's tail turned into iron and smashed into servine. It was twirling back and it hit dewott, leaving them both stunned.
"Now let's finish this!" Ash said. "Right!" Serena said. "Pikachu, use thunderbolt!" "Fennekin, use flamethrower!" The attacks combined and exploded in servine and dewott, knocking them both uncouncious. "No way!" Dania and Dan said at the same time.
"Well, you beat us." Dan said. "Here are the tickets." Dania said giving them two tickets. "Thank you!" Ash and Serena said. "Great job fennekin!" Serena said. "Amazing!" Ash said to Pikachu.

Three days later at the hotel...
Ash and Serena left thier pokemon inside thier room. Clemont and bonnie rented a room next to them.
Ash was standing next to Serena over a balcony. There was watching a sparkling blue lagoon. "It's beautiful." Serena whispered. "Not as beautiful as you." Ash said. Serena turned to him and smiled, eyes sparkling.
They locked eyes and slowly approached each other. Suddenly the balcony supporting Serena collapsed. Ash quickly grabbed her and strained to keep her up. "Help me!" She gasped. "Don't worry!" Ash clenched his teeth. He gathered his energy and pulled, lifting Serena to the solid floor.
Serena hugged ash and took deep breathes. "Thank you." She said. Ash led her inside and rested her on the bed. Fennekin and Pikachu waved to Clemont's room. Ash nodded and they ran to the door.
"Ash, thank you." Serena said. "It no prob-" he was cut off and Serena kissed him. Ash hugged her, and he allowed the kiss.
