HELLO! If you are following me as an author or any of my other stories, don't expect any update anytime soon. I feel terrible but for some reason I just can't get any inspiration If anyone wants to give any ideas then just send em' in! If you are Neko Nyan, don't worry! The Maximum Ride Collab is coming on well, just not...quickly.
This is just a sneak peek of the re-write of my first Fanfic, I read over last night just before I was about to post the newest chapter and I hated it! Full chapter re-write will be coming soon. I will leave the first one up so others can still read it. Don't worry how different it seems it will still stay mostly the same!
Fairy Tail Belongs to Hiro Mashima. My Lord and Master, I bow to him with unquestioning loyalty.
'Lucy you're off the team."
"Your bringing us all down."
"That doesn't seem fair."
"Can't you see, what your doing?!"
"We've put up with this for too long."
"I know we're friends but you're just isn't good enough!"
"You have to agree for us to make this official, for the sake of the team just say yes and sign the papers."
"What is this a divorce?"
"Please leave us alone from now on, It'll be weird if we interact."
They walked away, just like everyone else. Taking with them a piece of my heart.
Lucy sighed as she unlocked her car door. "Am I actually that useless? Maybe I actually am. It's been 3 years since then, why can't I just get over it?". In retrospect deciding to go solo like she did may not have been such a good idea. Since she had been given a 'permanent holiday' from Team Natsu membership, Lucy hadn't really spoken to anyone from the guild. She wallowed in self pity for a few days before running into the guild in sweatpants grabbing about a billion missions off the board and taking off. Finishing those she felt a strange sense of liberation and had never looked back. She adopted a work ethic akin to that of her father. Making only Economic decisions and doing only what was best for her bank account. This tragic but 'unavoidable' (as Lucy tells herself) course of action successfully alienated Lucy from the guild.
When she finally returned to Magnolia for a substantial period of time she packed up her apartment and bought a house outright. No mortgage, no rent, no interest. She then calculated the cost of train rides and found that it would be cheaper to just buy a car. She did. That same day she went out and bought a Cherry Red Jeep Wrangler, the most economic choice. Not black, that would attract heat and increase the need for cooling, wasting fuel. But red. A nice colour minimal effect of car temperature and the cheapest paint.
This change in the Celestial Mage somewhat scared her.
While on a mission she had some across Gildarts who had commented on her physique. She had spilled her guts about what had been going on these past few years. Gildarts was shocked, he said that from here there was only on path to take. Given the nature of the missions she's taking Gildarts concluded that Lucy was aiming for strength and that sooner or later she would be accepted for S-Class. When that happened she needed to be ready, to either give up family and friends or dump the dream of surpassing anybody substantially stronger than her. "If you decide to give up your family and friends it will open up many an opportunity." He had said "You would be able to become a Wizard Saint and become the best of the best. However, this will require full dedication and sacrifice. When you reach these crossroads you MUST make a choice."
THIS had scared her.
