Thousands Of Kilometers From Neptune
Neptune, farthest planet from the Sun. An Ice Giant, with its blue hue, and faint ring system. Only visited once by any human spacecraft, it is still a mystery of what it could hold to its far-away neighbors on Earth.
A Roaming Eye suddenly stopped light-speed. Now hovering thousands of kilometers from the planet's upper atmosphere. Inside, the five Rubies of the Gem Homeworld looked on. The nice and compassionate Ruby spoke in awe.
"Wow, it's just as beautiful as it sounds."
The leading Ruby spoke.
"Well, here we are. Planet Neptune. This is where they said Jasper is."
The leader walked over to a hologram computer, which suddenly displayed a hologram image of Neptune.
"By compiling information from Homeworld's exploration of this star system thousands of years ago, we can gain information on Neptune."
More data appeared on the holographic screen.
"Aha! So, the planet Neptune has no real surface, the planet being composed of clouds of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide on the upper-level. The planet is riddled with high-powered storms, with wind speeds reaching up to 2,200 clicks an Earth hour. So, if Jasper WERE on the planet, she would have to be in her own ship. Why she would never try to leave the planet and go back to Homeworld herself is beyond me."
The Newbie looked out to the planet.
"It's a big planet. Do we really have to look through all of the upper-atmosphere for Jasper?"
The leader turned to the Newbie.
"Of course! The Gems back on Earth said this is where Jasper is! We must complete the objective."
The stoic Ruby spoke.
"Unless they lied to us…"
Then, the battle-ready Ruby yelled out.
"Then if they did, I'm gonna beat them so hard, they'll wish they've never been made!"
Then, she did some punches and kicks.
"Well, lie or not, we've got to explore this planet just to make sure." said the leader.
The compassionate Ruby spoke.
"I can't wait to explore this beautiful planet."
"And besides," said the leading Ruby, "If we can't find Jasper on the planet, we'll just look for her on the planet's 14 moons."
The Newbie slumped down.
"This sucks…"
