Just felt like writing a little Percabeth one shot. Rated T for a VERY GOOD reason. A review would make my day :) so tell me what you think. Set at their college in New Rome after BOO.

Enjoy!

Sleepless Nights

Annabeth sat up in bed, drenched in sweat. She looked anxiously around her dorm room to make sure it was just a dream. She checked the clock, it read 12:37. This was the third night in a row that she'd had a nightmare about Tartarus. She put her head in her hands. These sleepless nights were taking a toll on her body. Her head was pounding. She sighed and squeezed her eyes shut. She imagined lying on Percy's chest, and him caressing her hair. She imagined him kissing her forehead. Suddenly, she knew what she needed to do to get some sleep.

A short walk later, Annabeth arrived at Percy's dorm room. There was light coming from underneath the door. She didn't bother knocking, his door was always open. She pushed the door open slowly. Percy sat up and instinctively reached for Riptide that sat on his nightstand in pen form. He brushed a hand through his messy black hair and glanced down at her bare legs. Annabeth blushed, suddenly aware that she was wearing pajamas; an old Camp Half-Blood tee-shirt and short-shorts. She closed the door behind her and strode over to Percy's bedside. No words needed to be exchanged. Percy scooted over, allowing Annabeth room to lie down. They'd done this before, but Annabeth couldn't help but feel nervous. Percy turned off his bedside lamp, leaving them in only the light of the moon that was coming through his window. He positioned his arm under Annabeth's head so she could lie on his chest. He used the arm under her head to caress her shoulder. Everything felt so natural.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He whispered.

His voice sounded deep, like he'd just woken up. She tilted her head to look him in the eyes, and shrugged.

"Same old, same old," she said.

He kissed her forehead. "Me too." He said.

"We'll probably get in trouble for this." Annabeth murmured.

Percy grinned. "No one will find out." He said.

"Unless we do something naughty that wakes up my neighbor."

Annabeth elbowed him in the ribs. "In your dreams." She said with a laugh.

Percy chuckled and pulled her close, and Annabeth couldn't help but smile. They stared at each other in silence for a moment.

"I love you." Percy said quietly.

Annabeth didn't need to respond. She kissed him. Annabeth meant for it to be gentle and sweet, but Percy melted into her kiss. His hand traveled up her side and into her hair. He pushed her gently onto her back so he was on top of her, propped up on his elbows. Annabeth wrapped her legs around his torso. One of her hands was in his hair, and the other was wandering his back and shoulders. Annabeth could feel his toned muscles through his thin shirt. She finally broke the kiss for air. Percy kissed the corner of her mouth, then her jaw. He trailed warm kisses down her neck. Annabeth shivered. One of his hands traveled down her side, to her bare leg. His touch left a trail of fire on her skin. She pushed her hands under his shirt and explored his bare back and sides. He quickly sat up, pulled off his shirt, and tossed it to the floor. Annabeth glanced at his bare chest. He was covered in various scars, but they didn't bother her. She blushed, and Percy grinned like an idiot.

"Like what you see?" He said, wiggling his eyebrows.

Annabeth laughed. "Shut up, Seaweed Brain."

She grabbed his face and pulled him back down on top of her. He kissed her hungrily. Annabeth tangled her fingers in his messy black hair as he kissed her. One of her hands went down to his chest and brushed his abs. Percy's heart was pounding. He didn't quite know what to do now; this was the farthest they'd ever gone. He let a shaky hand drift down to her stomach. He pushed just his fingers under her shirt, then stopped. Annabeth broke their kiss and nodded. Percy took this as a green light, and pushed his hand under her shirt. Her breath hitched. She pulled his kiss back to her mouth. His finger brushed across a scar on her side; the place where she'd taken a knife for him in the battle against Kronos. Percy kissed her harder. He needed her. He pushed her shirt up until it was balled under her arms, and her whole stomach was exposed. She broke the kiss, and Percy helped her pull her shirt over her head. Her bra wasn't anything special, just a simple blue bra, but it lit his face on fire. Annabeth chuckled but he stopped her by smashing his lips into hers. Percy groaned when their bare stomachs touched. She was so warm. The lemony smell of her hair was intoxicating. Percy pushed his tongue into her mouth without warning. His hands roamed her stomach and sides. Slowly, he moved both hands to her back where her bra was hooked in place. His fingers fumbled around with the hook. Annabeth smiled into their kiss. Percy broke the kiss, his face flushed with embarrassment.

"Dammit." He said under his breath.

He wanted to just rip it apart, but he knew Annabeth would kill him. Annabeth was biting back a laugh. She sat up and positioned herself so she was sitting on Percy's lap with her legs around his waist. She reached behind her back, covering Percy's hands with hers and unclasped her bra with ease.

"See? That wasn't so hard." She whispered with a smile.

"Easy for you to say." Percy mumbled.

Annabeth laughed, but then blushed when she realized there was nothing holding her bra on. They both stared at each other for a moment. Percy gently slid the straps down her shoulders, letting the bra fall down her arms. Annabeth looked away, suddenly embarrassed. Percy cupped her face in his hand and she returned her gaze to him.

"You're so beautiful." He whispered.

Annabeth smiled. Percy pulled her close so their chests were touching. She drew in a breath, and he kissed her. Annabeth pushed him onto his back and kissed him roughly. Percy broke the kiss to breathe.

"I love you." He said breathlessly.

"I know." She replied.

They laughed together. Usually, something would tug at the back of Annabeth's mind that told her to stop. She knew that if they went too far, the possible consequences would out weigh the benefits, but this time she didn't care. She wasn't thinking about the possible consequences; she wasn't thinking about Tartarus, or school. For once in the past week, she wasn't thinking about anything. Percy had that effect on her. He could make her forget about all of her stress with a single glance. Maybe it was the way he smiled at her for no reason, or the way he always smelled like an ocean breeze. Annabeth didn't know. She only knew that she loved Percy.

And that was all that mattered.

Hope you guys enjoyed it :) Tell me what you think and any suggestions for future one shots :)
