Let Me Kiss Away You're Fears

My true love, the one I may give my heart to but never have his in return. He is in my heart, he invades my dreams and sweeps me from my feet, but I must swiftly fall back to the earth. His eyes, oh his eyes, they are windows to his tormented soul. Yet, a bitterness clouds them, hating life for he had none as so many others take for granted. The sweet velvety voice that escapes his lips, cold with an iciness that he never lets leave, to protect his dreams and heart, stowed away from the harsh and prodding fingers of man. Oh how I wish I could but take his uncertain hand in mine, to lead him to happiness and kiss away his fear. To brush the hatred from those deep blue orbs, to replenish them with my love and a life long since forgotten. One gentle touch from his strong hands sends shivers down my spine, how I yearn for those sweet arms to embrace me warmly. To taste his luscious lips against my own, his hungrily searching for love that I readily offer. How I want to feel his body against mine, holding me gently and with a delicate touch. But for now, these are only mere dreams at which one day I will look back and laugh upon happily. For soon the ice wall that guards his heart will melt, and I will be there to welcome him once more to the world with ready hands to lead. To give him my love, and receive his in return.
