Scipio Massimo is the only child of Dottor Massimo, a rich and important man from Venice. Since his childhood, Scipio had everything he wanted. He had all the toys any kid would dream to have, one big room just for himself, maids that were there if he needed them, and even one nanny. If the young master Massimo, as she called him, wanted to eat, he would have a plate right in front of him in the same moment. He could eat without spilling anything and, sometimes, his father would let him eat french fries and fast food. If he broke a toy, immediately a maid would replace it with a new, better one. When he asked his father for a kitty, he got one. She died a few months latter, but he received a new, prettier kitty, just as it happened with all his toys.
All his father's guests thought Scipio was adorable, and the ladies loved to cuddle him. When he was small, he liked it because his mother was always traveling and rarely came to see him, but now he doesn´t like it anymore and refuse to be hugged and kissed. Dottor Massimo doesn´t like his son acting childish, so he locks Scip in his room until the next time he treats everyone well and looks like a perfect child. Scipio´s father doesn´t think his son is a good son, and his mother just saw him one or two years ago, so he concluded she doesn´t love him anymore.
Sometimes he wanted to be a grown up. He wanted to be strong and tall without needing his high-heeled boots, so the others don´t treat him like a child, giggling at him. Sometimes he just wanted Signore Massimo to not say to him that he´s childish wen he tries to act like an adult.
That´s why, a few times, he puts on his favorite boots, an old cape and a creepy, eerie bird´s mask, and goes to an old movie theater to meet those stray kids who he´s proud to call his friends. There he isn´t young master Massimo anymore. He is The Thief Lord.
