Karou grabs his hand Kenshin turns around with a surprised Oro? "Kenshin what are you thinking about?
You have that look again." Karou asked with concern.
"What do you mean?" Kenshin replied confused. "You know. The one when you were thinking about your
past." Kenshin starts to turn away.
"Don't try to hide it now. Come on Kenshin at least be honest with me. If you don't tell me sooner or later
I'll find out anyways." she squeezes his hand the leans against his shoulder.
"You mustn't go to sleep yet Ms. Kaoru that you shouldn't the train will stop soon so just wait until we get
to the Aoiya." Kenshin implored Karou with concern.
"I know just let me stay like this a little longer." Karou replies reassuringly.
They arrive at the Aoiya
Yahiko: man I tired I hope we'll be able to spend the night Sanosuke: knowing weasel girl she'd probably
keep us awake all night WHAT WAS THAT! Misao comes in and starts to beat up the tired Sano ms.
Kaoru: oh hi Misao nice to see you again Misao: you too ms. Karou well what are you waiting for come in
Kenshin: sir Okina thank you for your hospitality how can we ever repay you Okina: not at all Himura not
at all me and all of Japan is in your debt. So let's all rest and have fun in the morning.
(since there's not enough room Kenshin and Karou have to share )
Karou lies awake for hours until finally sits up and says, "Kenshin there's something I have to tell you.

I don't know if you've noticed though actually it's as if I don't exist especially after you accidentally gave me
that engagement ring . And I was hoping that we could get married for real...Just a thought! Sigh maybe I'll
tell you for real someday""Ms. Karou?" Kenshin squeaked. "AAhhh you were, I mean, how much, uhhh
what?" Karou sputtered "In the morning can you come with me somewhere I need to tell you some thing"
Kenshin announced.Karou: ummm okay what about Kenshin: I'll tell you later in: Kaoru's head: omg did he
hear it all. Why did I have to say that all out loud, but I wonder what he wants to tell me?
