George Weasley had been going out with Hermione Granger for a long time

George Weasley had been going out with Hermione Granger for a long time. So long in fact, they had begun to drift. George however, would not let Hermione go quietly. Like always, he had a plan.

Today I may not have a thing at all
Except for just a dream or two
But I've got lots of plans for tomorrow
And all my tomorrows belong to you

George was planning on proposing to Hermione. He had been with a lot of girls, but never one that he wanted to spend the rest of his days with like her. Even though he loved her so much, he knew that unless he made a big step, they would break up. So he walked outside of their house, hardly noticing the spring air, and took the Muggle bus to London, where there was a spectacular ring shop.

He arrived there and headed inside. He looked around, but then he saw it. The perfect ring. It glittered and shone, rainbows danced off the many-faceted gem, and he swore he saw Hermione's beautiful face reflected in the depths of the diamond.

Right now it may not seem like spring at all
We're drifting and the laughs are few
But I've got rainbows planned for tomorrow
And all my tomorrows belong to you

He checked his watch, and dashed out of the shop, knowing he would miss the bus back home. The bus was pulling away from the station just as he arrived. It was obvious luck was not on his side when he stepped in a wad of chewing gum. However, none of this George minded in the slightest because soon, he would be the luckiest man in the world. If she said yes, of course.

No one knows better than I
That luck keeps passing me by ... that's fate
But with you there at my side
Ill soon be turning the tide ... just wait

When he got home, Hermione was there to welcome him. He pulled her to his chest, taking in her sweet scent, and breathed in her ear, "I love you," and kissed the top of her head. "I wouldn't have anyone else Hermione… I love you. I love you, Hermione Granger."

As long as I've got arms that cling at all
Its you that Ill be clinging to
And all the dreams I dream, beg, or borrow
On some bright tomorrow they'll all come true

The next evening, when Hermione went into the living room she and George shared, she was overwhelmed by flowers. The entire room was filled with daisies, Hermione's favorite flower, and lit with candles of various shapes and sizes. A jazz song was playing in the background that Hermione did not recognize. She shifted her gaze to the middle of the room, where George was on one knee. He opened the small black, velvet box he held in his hand and said, "If you'll have me…all my tomorrows belong to you, Hermione Granger."

Hermione cried silently, and whispered yes as he pulled her into a life-changing kiss. George whispered once again, "All my tomorrows belong to you."

And all my bright tomorrows belong to you
