"Dude!" I said, "But, I had plans this summer Dad. I'm sick of you dragging me around for your crap!" I complained, more angry then sad.

"Ryland, stop. You are coming with us and you'll deal with it. End of story."

I cursed him under my breath as I walked out. When he wasn't looking, I flicked him off.

I opened the door of my room and the Florida sun streamed through my windows. Another wasted summer. I pressed the play button on my iHome. 3OH!3's Don't Trust Me boomed from the speakers:

Black Dress, with the tights underneath

I got the breath of a last cigarette on my teeth

And she's an actress…

But she ain't got no need

She's got money from her parents in a trust fund back east

Every effing summer. I never could just stay home and hang with my friends. I had to go on some waste less vacation. And you're probably thinking, what a spoiled brat, right? Wrong. I'm not really all that spoiled. These are never fun vacations, believe me. One year we went on some lame vacation to China. It was awful. Neither of us knew how to speak Chinese, and everyone took advantage of that. The only thing I'd get out of this cruise was maybe a tan. But I could really care less about that. I wouldn't really get anything out of this cruise.

Boy, was I wrong.
