Klaus POV
It was a nice day in New Orleans now that the war was over and there is peace in the Supernatural community. There was some tension but I believe that it will disappear in time, if not I would deal with it as necessary.
I had had a long week and was looking for some rest and time off. Being the World's Most Powerful Creature got tiring and exhausting over time.
He was also very lonely and now that the war was over he was feeling the absence of a particular blonde baby vampire even more than usual. Not that he didn't think about her, he did, but with everything that had been going on he had had very little time to notice her absence.
Although, he would wait for her. He was confident she would return. Especially after their little tirade in the woods that had his mind full of inspiration for months. He knew that someday she would return and he would welcome her with open arms, mostly. There would be some punishment for making him wait (and he was sure she would make him wait) but the punishment would be of the most pleasurable kind.
He was drawn out of his thoughts as he heard the sound of tires squealing and doors slamming. The click of heals over the gravel, he assumed it was Rebekah angry about one thing or another, honestly it was quite tiring to keep up with. So he went back to his painting.
He was slowly pulled back into his thoughts as he allowed his mind to be taken over by instinct of moving the brush against the canvas. As he admired his painting even he could see that it was considerably darker than his last one. He was stressed, and who could blame him staying two steps ahead of everyone was a full time job.
He was shaken from his thoughts as he heard a voice he did not expect so soon call out "Niklaus Mikaelson"
The blonde bombshell made it only several more steps into his house before he flashed in front of her and took in her appearance. She was slightly worn looking like she had just been on a ten hour flight and had a pain in her back from sleeping in coach. But this was all secondary as the greater part of his attention was focused on her face and more specifically her angry expression. He was just about to speak when she put up a hand to silence him.
She then began, "How dare you have a kid and not tell me about it."
