A/N: yeah, I know, two stories in one day, me? That doesn't fit. Another idea of mine, drop a review when you finish, please. Enjoy!
Pink
It was pink.
Tears.
Pink.
How could it be pink?
So now he knew
He didn't take it well
Worse than expected, actually.
She hated him.
But she loved him… didn't she?
She told her mother.
She was sympathetic, she cried, said it was ok, asked what he said.
She told her he didn't want it.
It.
She was mad. She said I told you so.
It hurt.
Badly.
She slammed the phone down. Tears were threatening to flood her eyes.
She couldn't tell her grandmother.
She could tell no one.
She couldn't be alone.
Not now.
She thought of him
Maybe him?
It's worth a try.
She dialed the number;
"Yeah?"
He answered, she couldn't contain herself, she missed him.
"Hi" she said, no longer feeling numb.
"Rory" he said, making her name sound sweet, the forbidden fruit.
"Jess" she breathed.
Silence.
"Is there", Pause, "a reason for this call?" he asked.
"yes"
"oh"
Another long comfortable pause. She could hear his breathing.
Inhale… out-hale… inhale… out-hale…
She felt at peace.
She closed her eyes.
Peace.
"Rory?" he woke her up from her dreamlike state.
"Oh, yeah", Beat, "can I come over?"
He was silent for a moment.
"Sure"
She felt relieved when she saw him, and crashed into his arms, sobbing.
He led her to the couch, reassuring her, stroking her.
She felt something she didn't feel for a long time.
At Home.
She calmed down a bit, after a while, and placed her head in his lap, staring at the wooden ceiling. The wood was so dark, yet the apartment felt as if it was filled with light.
He started reading to her.
His dark voice making her shiver, every muscle in his face moving exactly the right way.
He stroked her hair, making her forget everything, making her feel elated.
She fell a sleep soundly, for the first time in weeks since his last departure, he was her remedy, cure, for every problem in her life.
He was right.
She woke up in a strange bed.
Then she remembered; Jess must have moved her.
She yawned loudly, and jess, hearing her came into the room, and leaned on the door.
"I'm pregnant" she said.
He didn't answer.
She frowned.
"You're disappointed" she stated, rather sadly.
"No… I'm not" he said, recovering.
"Yes, you are" tears began to form in her eyes.
Jess walked over.
"Hey, I'm not…"
She smiled trough her tears.
He sat on the bed; she leaned into him, and rested her head on his shoulder.
He stroked her hair.
He sighed.
"Is it his?" he asked quietly.
"Yeah"
"How'd he take it?"
She was quiet.
"I'm sorry" he said.
"You shouldn't be"
"I know, but I am"
She wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Do you mind?" she asked, mesmerized with his scent, she loved being this close to him.
"What?"
"It"
He was silent for a moment.
"I do, but it's yours, so I'm good."
Her heart lifted. This was going to work.
Though they discussed nothing, it was obvious Rory wasn't there for a friend, Jess was ready to commit, as he said before, on that night he proposed to run away.
If he was going to commit to her, he was going to commit to it.
"Good" she said, and laid back on the pillow, and in the comfort of his arms, fell asleep.
I'm not sure if this is going to be a one-shot, or a multi- chapter. Tell me what you think, Me.
