As I stare from a field at the endless stretch of sky,
The stars twinkle down, and the wind passes me by.
I sigh, and it echoes through the night…
As I look at the stars in the endless sky.

I am tainted with the grief of sin…
It will forever more be carried by the sighing wind.
Yet the lights greet me with a comforting shine,
As I look at the stars in the endless sky.

Those stars, hanging there, still as stone…
They shine on all, and shine as one.
They shine on all except one, whom I miss, who passed me by
As I look at the stars in the endless sky.

I ponder on the subject of fate;
As fate decides good, love, death, and hate.
A slight breeze passes, and I wonder why
As I look at the stars in the endless sky.

Again, I sigh…
For I remember when he disappeared; like day to night.
A gust picks up, billowing by
As I look at the stars in the endless sky.

So I sit from a field, staring at the endless stretch of sky
The stars always twinkle down, and the wind passes me by.
I sigh about my memories, and it always echoes through the night
As I look at the stars in the endless sky.

OOOO

This was (originally) supposed to be Lloyd...but then I got sort of deep into it, and it turns out it doesn't sound like Lloyd at all. Yes, I suck at poems...
