It was the 8th grade. Jadelyn West opened her locker at Hollywood Arts Middle School. As she sipped her coffee she took out her theatre history book. When she closed her locker she wasn't surprised at the face next to her. Beck Oliver the best friend of her friend Andre Harris. Beck had been asking her out since the first day of school as it was now March. "what do you want Beck" she snapped she already knew the answer though. "a date…with you" he said. "no" she simply replied. "come on! Why not I really really like you" he said. She thought about it for a second. He was cute and nice but why would he want go out with a goth freak like her! "fine" she replied. "wait is that a yes" he asked. "yes" she said. "Tonight pick me up at my house don't be late" she said and walked away. "YES I HAVE A DATE WITH JADE WEST!" thought Beck. The rest of the day Beck was thinking on where to take her. He decided to ask her best friend Caterina Valentine or Cat for short. Cat was at her locker talking to Robbie. "one time my brother was trying to cut his toe nails with a saw and he- OH hey BECK!" the perky red head exclaimed. "so you and Jade have been friends for a long time right?" he asked. "oh yeah we have been best friends for YEARS!" she said. "I have a date with her tonight what do you think I should do" he asked. "AW YOU AND JADEY HAVE A DATE THAT'S SO CUTE! You know she has been DYING to see that new movie" she said. "which one?" he asked. "the scissoring" Cat said. "cool I'll take her to dinner and that movie" Beck said then walked away.
LATER THAT NIGHT
Beck walked up to Jades door. He rang the door bell and Jade came out. She looked beautiful in her black skirt and black shirt. She had blue extensions in her chestnut hair. "hi" Beck said. "hey" she replied. He took her to a Pizza place for dinner. When they ordered their food the waitress flirted with Beck. "hey do you have a girlfriend" she asked. "uh HELLO do you NOT see me sitting right here" Jade snapped. "right sorry I'll be right out with you food" she said and ran away. "so you're my girlfriend now?" Beck asked. "OH shut up" Jade said. after dinner Beck surprised her with the movie. "THE SCISSORING! I wanted to see this SO badly!" she said. "I know" he replied. "have you been stalking me!" she said. "NO! Cat told me" Beck said. "oh" Jade said quietly. In the movie The girl picked up the scissors and chopped her friends in half everyone in the audience screamed and Jade laughed. After the movie was over Beck asked "do you want to come back to my house". She nodded. He unlocked the door to his house (remember this the 8th grade BEFORE he lived in a RV) He took her to his room. She walked around then something caught her eye. She picked up the video game "Donkey Kong?" she asked. "uh yeah kinda of dorky I know" he said. "You ever play" Beck asked. "a little but I'm not very good" she replied. "well you know practice makes perfect" he said. "game on" Jade said. Jade won. "WINNER!" exclaimed the Xbox. "HAHA" Jade said. "I thought you said you weren't any good" Beck said. "Yeah I lied" Jade said. "How did you get so good" Beck asked. "I have 3 older brothers" she replied. they stared into each other's eyes. Beck leaned in and pressed his lips agents hers'. When they pulled apart Beck only said…"rematch?" "your ON!"
