Gaming class-chapter one : the mystery teacher
The golden trio sat in the end carriage of the Hogwarts express. The ginger haired member was stuffing his face with sweets as usual. The know-it-all was reading 'Hogwarts: a history' for the millionth time and the saviour was staring silently out the window. Hermione stood up to go to the bathroom and change into her robes, leaving the two boys to sit in silence. As the the glass door slid shut, it opened again making Harry look up. A smug looking Draco Malfoy was stood in the doorway, making Harry and Ron both frown. ''Harry, cast 'lumos' will you? There is suddenly a dark aura hanging over this carriage'' Ron commented. Malfoy's smirk vanished in a second. ''I would say its nice to see you again, Weasley, but I was told never to lie'' Draco sneered. Ron's fists clenched at his sides as his face slowly turned red.
''Potter'' Draco nodded his head at Harry. Draco had become more tolerable towards Harry after the war. Draco reached over to snatch up a chocolate frog that lay on the seat next to Ron, when the red head grabbed the front of his robes and pulled back a fist. ''RONALD!'' A voice screeched, echoing around the carriage. Ron hesitantly let go of Malfoy's robes and stepped back just as Hermione slid into the compartment. ''What do you want, Malfoy?!'' Snarled Hermione. ''I only went to reach for a choco' frog when 'Weaslebee' here attacked me'' replied Draco, trying to feign innocence. Everyone now knew that Malfoy now had a giant crush on the Gryffindor goddess, and he made no move to deny it. ''Answer the question, Malfoy'' snapped Ron. Draco looked over at Hermione and hesitated before saying ''you, Hermione''. Hermione opened her mouth to retort but Draco hurriedly carried on. ''Here is a deal, if you go out with me till the end of the school year, I will be nice towards Weasley.''
Hermione thought for a moment before saying ''can I answer at dinner?''. Draco nodded silently, turning to leave, when suddenly Ron lunged towards Draco and tackled him to the ground. Ron raised his fist to aim a punch at Draco's face but a hand stopped him. Ron turned to see a tall man holding his wrist. ''20 points from gryffindor, Mr?'' The man asked. ''Weasley'' Ron grumbled, and with that the man stalked off. Draco shoved Ron off and dusted off his robes. ''Take all the time you need, Granger'' and with that he left the carriage.
Ron whirled around to face a stunned Hermione, his face bright red.'' Her-her-mione'' Ron trembled in anger. ''Not now, Ronald!'' Hermione exclaimed impatiently. Hermione wondered who the man was. Harry must have read her thoughts as he suddenly suggested ''maybe he's the new DADA professor?'' ''No'' replied Hermione ''Tonks is DADA''. ''I wonder who he is?'' Harry pondered. Hermione was left to her thoughts as the boys left to change into their robes.
