AN: Well, this is my first Haruhi fic. I tried keeping it in character, and I'm fairly sure I did an okay job. Please give me help with this if you think it's needed.

At Haruhi's clubroom, it seemed like a normal day. Well, normal by her standards. Everything was fine. Haruhi was her usual, annoying self. Yuki was quietly reading, Mikuru was was getting some tea, but Koizumi wasn't acting quite normal.

"Hey, Koizumi, stop staring at him," Haruhi spat. "It's creepy! And Kyon, why are you letting him, huh?" Everyone looked at her oddly.

"Suzumiya-san, what is the problem?" Koizumi laughed. "I am simply...um...staring off into space!" Now, Koizumi is smart. But even HARUHI could tell he wasn't just 'staring of into space' like he was claiming. He wore that same, weird smile on his face, only this time it seemed slightly creepy. (Well, more creepy than usual.)

"Haruhi-san, um..." Mikuru said shyly. " I don't think he's doing anything wrong. What if he is just staring off intop space...."

"Mikuru," Haruhi grinned. "Obviously, he is lying. He's staring at him so creepily! And blushing slightly!" She laughed and then turned to Koizumi. "Okay? See? We all think you're a liar! RIGHT, MIKURU?" Haruhi was almost scary like this. She knew how to get her way. But would it work this time?

"Suzumiya-san, I still do not understand. Why is this bad? I am daydreaming!" He pleaded. But like we know, Haruhi had no room in her heart for pity. If she was going to own a club, she was going to do it correctly. And to her, that would mean being slightly rude. "I am NOT lying!"

"Like I said. Mikuru and I believe you're lying," Haruhi looked at Mikuru sharply, giving her a warning. "Now, if you do not stop with your creepy STARING, you may leave."Of course, Koizumi would want to leave. Like everyone but Haruhi (maybe even Yuki) he hated this club. Leaving would be easy, but he didn't want to upset Haruhi by doing so. And that wouldn't be good.

"....Haruhi, he's not doing anything. I didn't notice," Kyon tried. "Stop baggering him!" Nothing pissed him off more than Haruhi being unfair. Even if he didn't see Koizumi as a love interest, he didn't want Haruhi to be a bitch to him. That's only natural for human beings. "And if he leaves.....then I leave! Okay? Get it?" Everyone was silent for a while. This was kind of an akward thing to say. Yuki acted like she barely noticed, and we may never know if she did.

"..." Haruhi looked sad and angry both at once. "Fine," She said. "Both of you, leave. You never did me any good. Mikuru and Yuki will stay then."

"Haruhi-san, if they leave, so will I!" Mikuru showed an almost brave side that nobody hade seen before. "That's unfair, right Nagato-san?"

"I agree, Asahina-san. We shall leave then," Then they all left, leaving Haruhi behind. She look like someone just ran over her dog. And if even Yuki showed concern, than obviously she might've been...slightly wrong. At least, that's how she saw it.

"N-no! Don't leave! It was a joke! I'm sorry, come back!" She begged. But they all shut the door, leaving the wretched club forever.

After they got outside, Koizumi felt really good. He knew that someone would help him out. But Kyon? He secretly wanted him to help him. "...Kyon-kun, thanks." he said embarassed. "I....um..."

"I know," he said. "You don't have to tell me. It's obvious. Okay?" Kyon knew he was staring at him. He even knew Koizumi liked him. But he didn't care. "After all? That's what friends do for eachother, right?"
