Okay guys, I know I should be working on Katie's Diary but this little thing decided to pop into my mind and wouldn't leave. I'm thinking it's going to be about 5-7 chapters long. Each longer than this though, as this is a short prologue. There may possibly be an epilogue aswell. It's in Remus' perspective because...well, I love Remus. Might jump to James although I'll tell you if that's going to happen. Basically, it's set about a year or 2 after the marauders leave school. Anyway, review please and tell me what you think and if you even want me to continue. Oh also, it's rated for language. That's about it really except...

Prologue
'Remus, where are you?' James Potter yelled from the kitchen of a reasonably sized cottage that both he and his wife lived in.
'Living room.' I yelled back although I was slightly distracted by the thing that sat, dominating the corner of the room.
'What,' I began, looking perplexed 'is that?'
'Oh, erm, it's Lily's tellyfishon.' James replied, pronouncing the last word carefully.
'What does it do?' I asked
'Well you watch pictures of moving people on it. You turn it on with that big button and the people start to move and talk and stuff.' James looked proud that he knew something I didn't. Smug git. He pressed the button and it burst into colour, the muggle on screen telling everyone the latest news.
I listened in awe before realising that we really had no time for messing around with Lily's muggle belongings. James seemed to realise this aswell as he turned the contraption off and turned to me, asking me if I had completed my duties. It was my turn to look smug now.
'Of course,' I replied 'I sent invites to Alice and Frank, Dumbledore, McGonagall and… actually, the whole order and their families. Hagrid, Andromeda and Ted, oh and their daughter. My parents, your parents, Peter's parents, Lily's parents, Mrs Figg and that nice lady who lives next door.' It was my turn to look smug. 'What about you? Have you sorted the decorations?'
'Course, they're all in the kitchen, waiting to be put up.' James looked pleased that he had completed the task Lily had set him, as did I.
The whole reason we had done this was, you see, Padfoot's surprise birthdays party. When we mentioned to Lily that we wanted to throw him a party, she had taken charge and given all the marauders, sans Sirius obviously as it was his surprise, jobs to do. I was in charge of invitations because I had the neatest handwriting, James was sent out to buy decorations, Peter was given the task of keeping Padfoot away from the house and Lily put herself in charge of arranging the food.
James and I sat back against the couch in silence, pondering how long Lily would be.
James was the first to speak. 'When do you think she'll be home then? I'm starving.'
Before I even had the chance to consider an answer to his question there was a crash from the kitchen and the sound of an irritated Lily arriving home.
'Oh buggering twatting HELL.' She had a lovely vocabulary. Really she did.
So, what do we think? Brilliant? Wonderful? Truly awful? Drop me a line in a review, I can't wait to find out what you think :D
