Hey! My name's is Ember J. Spitfire. My friends and I are genetically enhanced. As in our DNA has been twisted or in our case added to since before we were born. We are feline hybrids. Our only visible mutations are cat ears and tails, and slit cat pupils that only appear at will. We all have the power to go invisible at will and have super senses. I am the proud leader of our Pride. We can all change into the cat we are. I am 10% jaguar. Yes, you heard that right, jaguar. I have black hair and copper eyes. The mutation has granted me with the power to control fire. I can also shape shift at will but will pass out if I hold any form other than my own and a jaguar for too long. My boyfriend, Wave is 10% tiger. He has the power to control water and melt himself into a liquid. He has red hair and blue eyes. At age 16, we are the oldest of the group. At age 15, Sky is the next oldest. With his dirty blonde hair and silver eyes, he is often mistaken for being blind. He is a cheetah hybrid and controls elemental air. He has super speed. His green eyed brunette girlfriend is Thorn. Thorn controls elemental earth and has extreme super strength. Thorn is a leopard hybrid. She is 14. At ages 13 and 12, Sol and Luna are the only genetically related siblings. They are exact opposites. Luna has black hair and purple eyes; Sol is blonde and has gold eyes. Luna is a black panther hybrid and has the power to control darkness. She can also travel through shadows. Sol is a lion hybrid and can control light. He can also create copies of himself.
This torture chamber is the school, also known as Itex. They send Erasers, lupine-human hybrids, after us in order to capture us after we have escaped their clutches. They bring us back to their labs to test us in the most extreme inhumane ways possible. To them we are nothing more the experiments. We have been forced to run for hours nonstop, fight blindfolded, take numerous painful injections, and much worse. At the end of the day we are shoved back into cramped dog crates. We are only one of two groups to ever escape the school.
The other group is known as the flock. Their leader is Maximum Ride. They are avian hybrids and have numerous talents. Fang is her sub-leader and her boyfriend. He can blend into any back ground. He has black hair, dark brown eyes, and black wings. Max has supersonic flight. She has brown hair with blonde highlights, brown eyes, and brown and white wings. They both have gills. Iggy is blind, builds bombs, can sense something's color by touch, and an extreme pyromaniac. He has blonde hair, pale blue eyes, and off-white wings. Nudge is magnetic and talks a lot. She has black hair, brown eyes, tawny wings, and dark skin. The gasman or Gazzy and Angel are siblings. They both have blonde hair, blue eyes, and white wings. Gazzy is Iggy's bomb building sidekick who has a major digestive problem. This leads to numerous gas attacks. He can mimic any voice he has heard. Angel is gifted youngster. She can do everything involving people's minds, breathe underwater, talk to fish, and shape shift into two other forms. They also have a winged talking Scottie named Total, who loves to read People magazine.
